It’s a bit dated now but it was utterly fab. I still watch the odd episode and always laugh.

I dunno really. I'd say you're more very late to the party, OP.
Don't get me wrong I absolutely loved it at the time and I think I even watched all the original episodes "live", but it's very if its time! It would be interesting to watch it again for me but I don't think it would appeal to me now to watch it for the first time. I dunno, maybe not enough time has elapsed. I love watching stuff set in the 70s to early 90s, if you see what I mean.

Not jealous, because this is the kind of show I laugh at as much on 5th viewing as 1st, it's not something I would think "I wish I could watch it fresh" again.

But enjoy, OP, I absolutely love it. The one where Mick finds something in the car park at work ... 😂

I tried to watch it as DH found it hilarious but I couldn't stand it!

It also started my James Cordon hatred, can't bear him now.

I've never seen it as I can't bring myself to watch anything with that knob James Corden in it! I'm not keen on Rob Brydon either but I could probably get past that

I only watched it for the first time a year or so back.

Alison Steadman is a genius.

Is it wrong of me to say that I loved it, all of it, kind of except the bits with Gavin and Stacey in? Because both of them are shite 😂
