I love how Bryn joyfully explains how every day things work because he just discovered it. My dad does this too but I never found it funny before, I think I'm a bit more tolerant now. Every time someone giving a website says 'www.' I think 'women wearing wings'. Or when he has the digital camera and he says 'there's no fillm in there!' and talking about the different settings. He is such a lovely enthusiastic character. Even when Nessa is in labour and he is checking how far dilated she is 😂

I still watch friends and funny nearly 20 years after it finished
And i didnt watch a single episode of Happy Valley untill the third series had finished then i binge watched them and thought it was fantastic.

I was late to the party too and watched it around 3 years ago and finished it all in a few days. Loved it and watch it anytime I see an episode is on! I think I might start from the beginning again soon!

On the back of this thread, I've started rewatching. Episode 1 and 2 last night.

So far (for Nessa's list) only Mohammed and Dodi Al-Fayed. (she's not heard from Dodi after telling him to back off years ago)

And 4 omelettes 😂 including 2 for the trip back to Billericay.

Also a little bit late to the party. I only watched this for the first time, about two or three years ago ... I caught a Christmas episode, which I LOVED, and then I watched all from the beginning on iplayer.

It's absolutely brilliant, and one of the best sitcoms ever IMO. Grin I LOVE it when Smithy and Gavlar are singing 'do they know it's Christmas?' at separate ends of the town! (Whilst on the phone together.) And I love Nessa so much. Oh! Oh! Oh! Also (to her son when he's about ten,) 'Neil! Neil! Neil! NEIL! Oh Neil, Oh, Oh!' and he ignores her. Then she says 'Oh! Neil, the baby!' and he turns around. Grin

And what DID happen on the camping trip???

Also..... SPOILER ALERT * DON'T scroll down if you have never seen it and want to watch it/have only just started watching it!

I do feel a bit miffed that we were left hanging when Nessa said 'I luvs you I do Neil' (to BIG Neil - Smithy) and asks him to marry her, and he doesn't answer, and I don't think we ever find out what happened as that was the last episode, and they didn't make any more. Sad

I like the episode too where it’s Nial’s christening/Ness’s engagement party and Smithy’s mum gets a lift with Pam and Mick. I just love the interactions between them 🥰

Stacey is an annoying spoilt brat and only happy when it's her way.

So I did the Gavin and Stacey tour round Barry about 3 weeks ago (great fun) and Glenda, the woman who lives in Gwen's house hinted that the film crew had been down recently. She might say that to everyone of course but we all got excited that another special might be in the running and hopefully Smithy will say YES!
Their marriage would be a riot.

Ruth Jones refused to rule anything out, I think. So it’s possible. Alison Steadman said that she’d consider a return and Rob B and Ruth are big mates so I’m sure he’d agree too if asked.

Looking forward to seeing Dave Coaches in Season 4 of Das Boot on Sky next week!
