Song that you irrationally hate…

Mine is (I’ve Had) the Time of My Life, from ‘Dirty Dancing’.

It’s like nails on a chalk board and I can’t even explain why. It’s not even the worst song but it gives me rage and I always have to turn over the radio when it’s on.

Add to that any song by Anastacia, although these days she is rarely played on the radio.

I’m hoping that it’s not just me and suspect everyone has “that song” that they just cannot stand, for no rhyme nor reason. What is yours?

I also forgot Billie Eillish - dreadful. Same category as Taylor Swift, can't sing and just whines about everything.

Ellie Goulding -another whinger with a terrible voice. Imagine being stuck in a lift with her and Taylor Swift. The squealing and the obnoxious moaning about everything would be unbearable.

JLo - awful songs and grating whinyvoice.

Lily Allen - tried too hard to sound like a child.

Dua Leper - the songs are awful and her voice is one long drone.

Sam Smith- unmemorable songs and Boeing voice.

Several already mentioned but I can't stand White Fluffy Clouds by The Orb l, the wishy washy voice of the woman grates on me and This Girl is on Fire, awful, then people have their little girls singing it which is even worse!

Omg Hold My Hand by Jess Glynn - the actual song isn't too irksome but the ooo-i oo oo oo vocals are utterly rage inducing. Especially when you're sealed inside a Jet 2 aeroplane.

I forgot about Sia. Sounds like she's gargling with marbles and trying to sing at the same time.

I used to hate Ironic by Alanis Morissette because many of the girls at secondary school loved it and kept singing the bits they could remember, badly. Also, most of the examples in the song aren’t really ironic.

Totally agree with you're gorgeous by Babybird. It infuriates me, he's so droany and whiny. I can recognise it by the 1st 2 notes if it comes on the radio and I'll have it turned off in a nanoseco. DH can't understand just why my hatred is so intense 😂
