How is everyone today?

Hello, feeling really tired and fed up today, can't seem to motivate myself to do the things I should be doing, anyone else feel down today?

I'm actually going to get a bit of culture with adult DC and peruse an art gallery. Which will no doubt involve me perusing the gift shop as well, my favourite part. Apart from coffee and cake in the cafe 😉.
True cultural experience!

Ohh now I love a bookmark !!! , sad really I now only read on a kindle, my beloved books sanctimoniously put in the loft ( dh thought they were taking over the house and looked untidy!) , I think tat has its place too!
Maybe decide when you see what's on offer?

Ah. I reject Kindle and all its Wiles and Mores. I have very many bookshelves and love a decent paperback. I tend to have about three on the go and love a good bookmark. However. I may be tempted by scented soap or a snowglobe.

Me too @Maireas , my main aversion to my kindle is that it doesn't smell, you know that fabulous book smell? I still have a couple down , because not all the books I had were available on kindle .
Ah well it's not all bad though, I can have a sneaky read at night because it has a lit screen 🤣

Cultural haul: two postcards of paintings, one bookmark, one fridge magnet and one bar of chocolate. I don't even have a fridge that can hold magnets, it's integrated and the cupboard doors are gloss finish. Who knows. Anyway we had a walk round town and had a pizza after. I'm now eating the chocolate. Being very cultured is quite tiring.

LOL! Sounds like a lovely time. We collect stickers everywhere we go now. It makes me happy!

Also, I love books and think a house feels weird without them. But I don't have as many areas for them at the moment as I would like. We have some built in, but they are filled with DH's books. History, war, history of war. Those types of books. They look nice on the shelves I suppose.

Weather is odd here. Overcast. I have a hair appt tonight and really don't feel like it. (Never do.) Fortunately, it's in my neighbor's house so I can walk over. And she will give me wine and by the end I will be glad for it.

Anyone reading anything good? I am reading a book on puppy training and Sinéad O'Connor Rememberings.
