Hello, feeling really tired and fed up today, can't seem to motivate myself to do the things I should be doing, anyone else feel down today?

I was taken to home bargains by my mil for the first time !
I went a little nutty ! I think she was alarmed 😱, gift shop tat is the best! 🤣

Such a stressful week, again! I need the weekend to be with no unexpected issues of any kind, seriously. And wish you all the same 🎶Have fun and relax!

Morning - I hope everyone is well today.
Just getting organised for the term ahead and doing my seating plans. Lots of names to learn. A disproportionate number of girls called Lily, it would seem! It's a nice name, but a memory tester....

I’m away to tackle upstairs. Back to work tomorrow again so if I can get it done then I can pat my own back for a moment.

It is due to rain later so unsure if I should walk unsociable Sheldog in the rain (quieter) or go now so that we remain unsoggy.

It's brilliant, isn't it Alice! I enjoyed threads 1 and 2 and some of the batshit suggestions - the best being setting off a fire extinguisher through the cat flap! I thought thread 3 would be about the builders, so I got that wrong. Most entertaining 😊

The ham is definitely a hate crime. Even M&S ham.
It's a nice distraction from my continuing crusade against ageism and the slagging off of "boomers".

Oh and I could totally see myself in that situation. But I would have called every locksmith in the area until I got one willing to open the place. We locked ourselves out of our house the weekend we moved in. They never asked for any proof it was ours.

They do make a note, though.

I live next to Real Estate Agent Extraordinaire and fabulous 89 year old grand dame who can make even my puppy sit down with a look. They were both clients of the locksmith and were here for the unlocking so I am sure that helped.

On a side note, living next to one of the top agents in the area is amazing. Whenever we need a reference for someone to work on our house, he's got a number. And then we say that he told us to call and they appear and are eager to make a good impression.
