*short Nike pro shorts. Not shirt

no not Blackpool not AT not a Merlin

dont want to out myself but not them.

Do you think that you were the only middle-class family there?

Is this why you believe that it would be so outing to mention the theme park.

WASPS and full bins! How could I forget the WASPS!

Its drayton manor then.

We went years ago and dh still mentions this!!

Such a snobbish post, light hearted or not. Not everyone swans around in sister wife dresses and ugly trainers, some people dress for comfort and fashion. You should have enjoyed your day instead of gawping at the poors and inwardly judging them.

We went to Flamingo Land last week, and I noticed so many people with facial tattoos. I didn't realise they were so much of a thing!

Comedycook · 11/08/2023 23:03

Ewwww common people

And you are tge uncommon species known as homo snoberus! Wtf does your post actually mean? All people are common there are over 8b of us!

Now if you said people with bad taste, I'd be with you. But it's their right to choose how they dress and behave. That's free will!

i wouldn’t label people as chavs, I just noticed these things and I’m honest I don’t see a lot of bad teeth! Most teens I know are in braces!

these were adults with missing teeth. I don’t see it a lot,

Then the teens you know are very lucky.

Myself and teen DD have not had a dentist in 5 years and most of the country are in a similar position.

BeggyMitchell · 12/08/2023 09:32

Im pretty sure Comedycook's post was ironic...

Not snobbish at all, it’s not unreasonable to expect people not to swear around children, it’s disgusting to hear the language people use in everyday conversation these days.
It’s all about respect … of which sadly there is now very very little.
It’s also about taking a pride in your appearance … another factor that is rapidly disappearing.
The British population are becoming slovenly and foul mouthed, sit on any high street and take note for 30 minutes, you’ll soon see that’s true.

That was sarcasm, the poster was criticising the OP’s attitude 🙄

😂
I wasn’t judging it’s what I noticed.

The swearing though was ridiculous.

You absolutely are judging!!!!

JustCarryOnWalkingPast · 12/08/2023 09:37

Inbreeding of the lower classes Grin. Anywhere near Jaywick, Mansfield or Skegness?

crystalarter13 · 12/08/2023 09:38

Gotta be fantasy Island.. ingoldmells 😂😂😂

twinmum2007 · 12/08/2023 09:39

My sister and I play theme/water park bingo.
You've got a full.line there!
Did you also get: angry Dad making empty threats about going home; parent turning green after exiting the 'it's really tame honestly ' ride.

Water Park bingo also has : Beetroot from sunburn person, ghost (almost translucent skin with, usually, bright red hair) and postage-stamp-sized swimwear that might as well not be there.
And, yes we know it's snobby but it makes the day a bit more fun.

Window82 · 12/08/2023 00:10

I just think if you’re going to swear at your wife in front of your kids (threaten to throw her phone in the bin) simultaneously with a top off gold chains and missing teeth, you’re going to get noticed. Felt for the kids.

The rest is just fashion.

Sounds amazing. They should do school trips to places like this. A field trip on anthropology.

The rides would be a anti-climax I think.

WimbyAce · 12/08/2023 09:45

God I really hope it wasn't Paultons or there is no hope! That is normally semi civilised.

Museya15 · 12/08/2023 10:07

Beam me up snotty!

IheartNiles · 12/08/2023 10:12

I had fun at Dymchurch once counting the ankle electronic tags.

1993GoToo · 12/08/2023 10:37

Has anyone else read the TripAdvisor re Legoland from years ago?

"QueueLand and WaspWorld - A Rip Roaring Success!"

Worth a read 😁

Did you watch your life slide out of view?

😆

I love mumsnet. Threads are often full of pearl clutching snobbery or at the very least judgemental stereotypes about all sorts of things but when someone posts a thread and is deemed to be a pearl clutching snob all hell breaks loose🤣

Legoland was very in keeping with mumsnet standards last weekend.

ilovesooty · 12/08/2023 11:47

Why would you out yourself by saying where you were? 😂

Thanks @JustACountryMusicGirlInCowboyBoots the irony.

Instead of judging people for having missing teeth we should get the nhs to pay for implants
