Yes that's quite stark.
It's like reading something inbetween the current options we have.
In some ways because it sells putting businesses out of state control - but we are seeing the clusterfuck that was 30 years later with excessive fuel bills, sewage being pumped into waters etc. those companies got the business but it didn't come with responsibility.
It talks so much about the public services - this lot have all but destroyed them.
It talks about the environment - Rishi has just backtracked on our climate change pledges.
It's very well written and sells the idea of conservatism well. And in practice I'm sure much of it would be successful.
But mainly it shows how far the Tory party has strayed from its routes (whether you agree or disagree with their beliefs) over the past 3 decades.
