Could we PLEASE have a thread that stays up? Meaning don't name anyone, or any programme or ask for initials or hint. I just would like to discuss how this is likely to unfold.

You are correct. Many of the big name presenters are freelancers.

A number of the names hinted at on this thread are not BBC staff.

When the mother made the allegation to the Sun, were these the same allegations she made back in May?

And it still leaves the question of the actual young person and whether they made a report to police or the media? You cant make a crime report/statement third hand if you're not the victim.

So murder can't be reported to the police? You just have to hope they find the body themselves?

I just read the bbc statement again in a news article. The bbc wording is very clear, the fresh allegations made on Thursday are of a “different nature” to those made by the mum in may . So something else has now been reported to them about this individual.

Well I'll rephrase it by saying you can report anything you like, whether it will be taken on as an investigation depends on whether there is a victim report or enough evidence that the police can act without one/in opposition to one

Murder is an interesting thing, there are countless examples of where people go to the police worried about someone they know, but the person is just reported missing, for decades sometimes when it might be obvious that someone has caused them harm, rather than them be missing as such

If you saw someone being murdered thats falls under the category above which is that there is enough evidence that the police can act (assuming they do have access to the body)

Additional information such as their son/daughter was 17 years-old when it started would change the nature of the allegations.

It has nothing to do with wheel of fortune or any wheel. There are lots of correct hints on here esp pg 10 and 11 and my posts if they’re still up.

For info, it’s insider knowledge and is 100%correct. He hasn’t issued a denial because he can’t legally. Everyone who works in the media and their family and friends knows who it is.

We’ll have a fairly good idea tomorrow when the person who’s name is being bandied about doesn’t appear when and where they should be appearing (being as cryptic as I can be). If they appear well then it’s clearly not them and I haven’t got the foggiest.
