Could we PLEASE have a thread that stays up?

Meaning don't name anyone, or any programme or ask for initials or hint.

I just would like to discuss how this is likely to unfold.

So what? He is allowed a sex life and preferences. As long as its not Illegal it is not anyone else's business.

It is illegal to elicit, receive and distribute pictures of an explicit sexual nature from someone under the age of 18. Plus paying them for said images could constitute blackmail. So actually it's the police's business now.

Goldfoot · 09/07/2023 12:51

Hadn't used!!

Willmafrockfit · 09/07/2023 12:51

so yes perhaps he was depressed when in started in 2020 and has since been trying to pay off the person.

I thought this was very boring and everyone had unfulfilling lives and you pitied us all. Why you now prolific posting? Just curious..

Curiouscarla · 09/07/2023 12:52

@Inkpotlover so because he is a talented professional he is not allowed a sex life conducted in the privacy of his own home.

The moral outrage is the boring bit.

Curiouscarla · 09/07/2023 12:35

Well said. It's really boring. I feel sorry for the posters getting a thrill out of it all.
They must live such unfulfilled lives.

What's the link between being interested in current affairs and leading a boring life?

Where are you getting that posters are getting a thrill from? The very purpose of discussion forums it to talk about stuff, super weird to jump from that to some kind of excitement from the conversation

If your aim was to somehow appear to be a more superior being it hasn't worked

Odd that The Sun thinks it is in a position to moralise on this issue, they only stopped printing topless women (often only 16 or 17 years old) in 2015.

A quick Google and Sam Fox was 16 when she started doing Page 3 for The Sun.

Not necessarily if it was on only fans, where you need to be 18 to have an account and if the girl portrayed herself to be, you’d have to prove he knew she was a few months younger

Willmafrockfit · 09/07/2023 12:53

i dont think it is that shocking tbh

In 1982. It wasn't right, but that's 40 years ago!

No you're the boring bit.

So keen to tell us how the sex industry is all fabulous but somehow deathly dull with it. Honestly it's like reading mogadon.

Wow, you need to get that deleted, that’s nit what the accusation is at all.

It wasn't on OF though and he was apparently well aware of the person's age and their vulnerability.

That's what the original report said he was doing. That's exactly the complaint the parents have made.

Curiouscarla · 09/07/2023 12:56

@Inkpotlover that statement unless proven is slander.

JeandeServiette · 09/07/2023 12:57

So is it supposed to be someone he met IRL? Or someone he met online?

Absolutely it is not . There was no mention of bribery or using drugs as leverage, I’d report that and get it deleted, you’ve went too far.

Happy to remove it but I should point out you have to name someone to slander them.

And maybe people just aren't happy with their licence fee being given to some overpaid star so it can be used to buy the silence of some vulnerable teenager.

No it’s not it though it could potentially be libel.

Gooniesnecersaydie · 09/07/2023 12:58

Inkpotlover · 09/07/2023 12:49

People will definitely be shocked, because of the gravitas of the person involved. You just would not expect it from them because of how they conduct themselves on screen.

I don't think I'd be rocked by anyone paying for explicit pictures from a 17-20 year old.

It happens. It's not a contact offence and although creepy and abusive obviously, I don't think I'd be stunned whoever it is.

lieselotte · 09/07/2023 12:58

GrethaGoat · 09/07/2023 12:45

I am mostly shocked why these people take risks like this.

Yes I've just said the same to my husband - if you are in a high profile role you have to be "clean" - everyone is out to get you so you don't take those kinds of chances.

JeandeServiette · 09/07/2023 12:58

Curiouscarla · 09/07/2023 12:56

@Inkpotlover that statement unless proven is slander.

Well why don't you stop acting like a three year old and go and do something more constructive?
