Looks like a huge response.

Sky News saying a man arrested after 3 people killed.

Three people found dead and one man arrested according to latest on BBC.

Gosh well I certainly hope it’s nothing serious, but clearly it is something, given the response.

Im in Nottingham and apart from no trams going past my house, and lots of sirens, I have no idea what’s going on. My curiosity is driving me half mad though. We’re used to getting immediate information through 24 hour news and social media so it’s surprising that there is so little on this.

Yes, you'd hope it must be a good sign (under the circumstances) that no one seems quite sure what's happening. Bomb, car, mass stabbings... surely there would be more than just rumours if something like this happened 4 hours ago.

Car mown people down and stabbing. Three dead.
Absolutely awful.

2 dead in a street, one dead in another street, 3 run down by a vehicle, alive but injured. Man arrested.

I'm working there today. We've heard absolutely nothing. Though it doesn't affect paediatrics. We do usually hear on the grapevine about what's going on.

Very sad to hear people have died.

The taping off such a large area must be because the crime scene covers a large area.

Which explains the apparent scale of the response.

Based on a statement from Chief Constable Kate Meynell

• there were three incidents
• police believe they are linked
• suspect has been arrested
• location A - two people found dead in the street v early morning
• location B - van ran down three people - all currently in hospital
• location C further attack, one fatality
• investigations will take some time, please stay away from all 3 locations, extensive cordons in place for the foreseeable

Why is that a ‘vile comment?’ Someone said the people in uniform were bomb disposal and I said ‘I guess we are to assume a terrorist incident?’ Who else might be planting bombs if not terrorists? I guess it could be a WW2 bomb 🤔
