There's an A380 supposed to be Heathrow to Dubai (UAE30) currently just north of Wakefield.

Thoughts?

I'm going to take a guess that it's being moved to Glasgow.

Either that or the pilot has the map upside down.

There’s been some bad weather at London so maybe diverted?

Interesting flight path. Used to fly from Heathrow to Dubai frequently and didn't go this way.

It’s going from London to Dubai so if it managed to take off then this wouldn’t cause it to divert to Glasgow.

I have to admit my only thought is- how have you caught this? Do you regularly watch planes on flight radar for quirky looking flight routes, or are you tracking someone on the flight? ✈️

Sorry, I misread and thought it was dubai to London. Maybe a technical problem then?

This is quite intriguing but I do hope they’re ok. Looks controlled but definitely descending.

I think unfortunately so or technical issue. Manchester is still open there’s planes landing and taking off including another emirates a380 about to land.

The LHR 14:50 was cancelled due to tech issues. Everyone moved to 20:40 flight.

It looked to me like it was over Dumfries a moment ago !
