There's an A380 supposed to be Heathrow to Dubai (UAE30) currently just north of Wakefield.

Thoughts?

I saw that plane at the top of the list and wondered why a military plane was flying a loop up to Scotland but no idea of what it was about.

Thanks for the link. Looking back at its track it went almost straight over here, south-west of Cambridge, and I was busy indoors on comparison websites. Gutted to have missed them!

Someone was asking about the Red arrows - Redarrow is up now.

Just watching gprkz over south lincs it has no info on it at all. Has a weird shape/size and is at 500ft.

I am watching the inbound flight to Spain that was supposed to be taking me and DS out to Spain at lunchtime for a long weekend, only I've had surgery recently and not really safe to travel so reluctantly transferred to DH on tuesday. At least gives me a free pass for flight geekery for the next few days . .

Oh FR4441 is squawking 7700 - and is at 20000 feet but still looks to be continuing to the UK - is this likely to be a pressure issue if flying lower (thought that was normally 10k feet)?

I was only on it as DH and DS flying back today and wanted to get a sense of how things are out there

It's a bit early to say where it's going but I see now it's down to below 17k and descending further so it's anybody's guess what the problem is.
