Taylor Swift tickets help!

My DD (14) is a massive Taylor fan. She is very excited at the thought of her touring UK and is desperate to see her. I've told her it was be very difficult to get tickets and sites will probably crash/sell out in minutes as they did in USA. I'm trying to manage her expectations but DD gets very upset when I say this! We've had a difficult couple of years (divorce and a bereavement) and I really would love to be able to take her. I've signed up to Taylor's websites for notifications, but does anyone have any hints/tips on other ways to help get a ticket.... priority websites etc?! Thanks in advance!

if she plays at o2, those on the o2 network will get priority access tickets. but i don’t think o2 will be big enough.

american express card holders also get priority access tickets for some events.

I don’t know if will be the same with Taylor Swift but I managed to get tickets for Harry Styles last year by going through the Hospitality package provider at Wembley.

The tickets did cost more but is was worth every penny!

You can register in advance and say what concert you’re in.

My faughters are desperate. I'd love ti be able to treat them. However the cost of the ticket itself is an issue never mind any extras so can't go hospitality route!

She won’t be here until summer next year at the earliest. Doubt we will even get dates before November.

You’ll be fine getting tickets, she’s not as big in the UK as she is in the States. Plus people ALWAYS sell tickets closer to events. There was people on my Facebook practically giving away Harry Styles and Beyoncé tickets close to their gigs recently

Have as many devices as you can logged in and in the queue early...be logged in to say ticket master already with your payment details already added.

Also to look at other cities she may be playing, where you could book a cheap flight to. Once I went to see U2 in Strasbourg as it was cheaper than tickets and hotel in London, all things considered.

Try ticketswap, you can set alerts
it's a reselling platform but people aren't allowed to set it for more than 20% of the original price so it's not crazy

I've been keeping a beady eye

The dates will be announced before they go on sale hopefully by at least a week. Time to plan.

She is in the US on tour right through to the end of August. I doubt an announcement will come before then for Europe

She may even take a break in between

Haha no chance, it will be an absolute blood bath. US fans will fly out to see her. I'll be in LA when she's performing and restricted view tickets are over £4k a pop so US fans who couldn't get tickets will be quids in coming to watch it over here.

I'll be on high alert too to get tickets for the UK tour.

My daughter is also desperate to go but with the added complication that she has autism and so it's very difficult in terms of where she is able to deal with sitting etc. And even if I do get tickets she's quite likely to not be able to go at the last minute!

She's just announced some South America dates right at the end of august, and more in November. So if she comes to Europe I doubt it will be before 2024.

There was supposedly priority access if you bought the last album before a certain date. We did but only dates announced were US ones and we all know how that went.

It will be carnage. My DD is desperate to go but I am managing expectations now.

She's old enough to go on her own so if it comes to it I am willing to go to about £400 and she will contribute some of that. I would quite like to go though as well.

DD is going to Boygenius in the summer and as Phoebe Bridgers has just supported her on tour we are vainly hoping she may do one of her 'appearances' at that gig.

Be aware they can change your seat at any time. This happened to us once and there was nothing they would do to help. Ticketmaster don't even have a phone number you can contact anymore. It's online communication that's that's literally days to get a response and your needs are ignored anyway. I'm still angry our seats were moved from the front of our section at the end of the row to further back in the middle. They didn't care.

Just be warned the prices are likely to astronomical. Shit seats in Argentina were going for 3x an average monthly wage. And that’s normal release prices. Ticketmaster are wankers for this.

Haha! Taylor is huge here!! Everyone we know is waiting for UK dates to drop.
My DDs are desperately worried that her tour will clash with exams next year.

ug I’m dreading this dd is desperate too but I have a mental block on spending more than £100 for any ticket and that’s not going to wash is it !! Tempted by flying elsewhere so at least we get a holiday and it doesn’t feel quite so ridiculous!

I think it will be carnage! I know so many people desperate to see her plus people will travel.

I would love to treat my neice to a ticket but the commitment to trying to get tickets plus the cost is going to be crazy!

It makes me a bit 🤔as everyone says how philanthrophic Taylor is but then her concert tickets are so expensive most people can’t possibly afford them , it’s just for the wealthy. Same with all the big stars. I used to see lots of big concerts when I was younger and it was never like this.

I got Harry Styles tickets 2 weeks before the concert as resale tickets on Ticketmaster. Face value.

So even if you don't get tickets when they're released, worth keeping an eye out for resale tickets nearer the time.

I did look at other resale sites but reading reviews wasn't sure which ones were legit and which ones might be dodgy. But I know these ones are good as it's Ticketmaster, the original seller.
