What is your favourite sandwich?

Inspired by another thread talking about a lasagne sandwich, what is your favourite buttie.

Mine is probably chicken salad on brown seeded bread ..

Egg mayonnaise with finely chopped onion, tomato and grated cheddar mixed in. Reminds my of summer holidays with my grandparents 😀

Bacon and mushroom, either hot or after it’s been in the fridge for a while.

Sometimes all I want is a strawberry jam and cheese and onion crisp sandwich

Salt beef.

Club sandwich, but only homemade or if I'm in the US.
If I'm buying a sani or having one at a cafe it's got to be Brie, scraping of cranberry jelly and thinly sliced gherkins.

Prawn!

Christmas/Sunday dinner leftover sandwiches are amazing.

Turkey, ham, pastrami, cheese and mustard on a ridiculously soft sub is a strong favourite.

Bacon and cheese, has to be white bread but I’m not bothered whether it’s posh or cheap square basics bread.

When I was little, I used to like a chicken paste sandwich with ready salted crisps smashed into it.

Pineapple makes it and I shall defy anyone who says otherwise!!

grape honey- there was meant to be a comma I am ashamed to say. grapes, honey.

@CurtainsForBea , we will have to agree to disagree on the pineapple front ( but I am right 😂)

Grape and / or honey that makes more sense , I will now stop trawling through Amazon looking for the elusive grapes that can make honey 🤔lol

I love sandwiches - Reuben is good, as is pastrami (both when I'm in the US - we can't seem to do them as well here )

Technically a pitta rather than a sandwich but oh SO GOOD!

Toasted BLT
Chicken ceaser salad in a pitta
Chorizo, mozzarella, rocket and red pesto on toasted ciabatta
Smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel
Prawns in Marie Rose sauce with lettuce and tomato on granary
Cheese, tomato and onion toastie on thick white bread
Pastrami, emmental, gherkin and mustard on sourdough
Ham salad sub
Coronation chicken and rocket wrap
Tuna mayo, chopped celery and cucumber baguette
Brie and chilli jam panini
Warm egg mayo with loads of salt and pepper on brown bread
Grilled halloumi salad wrap with houmous

Smoked salmon and cream cheese on proper wholemeal or light rye bread

Coleslaw. Whack it one half of cheap sliced white, fold it over, shove it in.
Job's a goodun.

Salt and vinegar crisps with marmite sandwich

This thread is making me hungry!!

At the moment I really like sandwiches with bread from our local baker's, M&S turkey slices (Ocado) some lettuce, mayonnaise and crisps.

I also like prawns fried in olive oil with garlic as an alternative filling.

Ham & havarti on croissant.

Cheese and crisp sandwich. Thick brown bread.
