What is your favourite sandwich?

Inspired by another thread talking about a lasagne sandwich, what is your favourite buttie.

Mine is probably chicken salad on brown seeded bread ..

Medium cheddar cheese (grated), coleslaw and either prawn cocktail crisps or cheese and onion hula hoops!

And how could I forget grilled cheese/ ham&cheese/ham&tomato&cheese😛

American club sandwich with chicken, bacon, lettuce, tomato, triple decker toasted white bread with mayonnaise. And lots of pepper.

Am I the only one envisaging OP as the vicar from Gavin and Stacey?

Yes! And I'd add a side of fries and gravy.

also any of shrimp/prawn/crab/lobster mixed with mayo on brioche ( maybe a bit of cocktail sauce).

I have another one. Smoked gouda and thinly sliced tart apple on a buttered baguette.

Salmon, loads of vinegar, and cucumber on seeded bread.

I'm also partial to a brie and peanut butter sandwich too.

Tuna mayo salad with no onions on brown
Ham salad with no onions on brown
Bacon and brown sauce on soft white
Fried egg with salt and pepper on white
Tuna melt panini

@Mumtobabyhavoc based on your earlier post, I think you would love a New Orleans shrimp po-boy. Traditionally served on a baguette or something similar rather than brioche. Other seafood can be used as well.

@ScottBakula you must be my soul sister. Not only do you love Sam.. you actually love my fav sandwich. Tonight, half way across the world in the dominican republic,, I had a chicken salad on a lovely fresh croissant.

great sandwich (ok wrap preferably) do you have dried cranberries in UK now? called craisins in canada. If so..pulse to make very small..add mayo. let sit in fridge. will last ages. like months. so. twelve inch tort.. put some lettuce shredded..tomatoes diced .. a bit of shred cheese. then sliced fresh turkey or chicken. smear a big spoonful of the cran mayo and wrap. This was one of the most popular wraps on my menu

sorry forgot to say to put a few craisins in also. that is the full size you see. but not needed

and here is the lasagna grilled cheese sammy that was mentioned... you do not have to use rye bread.. any dense bread works amazing
