What is your favourite sandwich?

Inspired by another thread talking about a lasagne sandwich, what is your favourite buttie.

Mine is probably chicken salad on brown seeded bread ..

1. Bacon
2. Chicken, Cranberry, Stuffing
3. Boiled egg, salad cream, tomatoes

Slices of roast beef, watercress and horseradish sauce in a soft submarine roll cut in half on the diagonal. Sweet cherry tomatoes on the side of the plate.

Warm crusty Baguette with brie, rocket, slices of freshly cooked (and still warm, definitely no vinegar) beetroot and a twist of salt and pepper.

Ham and cheese for a cold sandwich and bacon with ketchup for a hot option (I assume we are allowed one of each )

So hard to choose but white bread, cheddar and a jammy relish plus cucumber would be a contender

Or
White bread, peanut butter, mashed banana and jam

Or
A good bacon buttie with tomato ketchup

Or
White bread with Brie and apricot jam heated up in the microwave

Excellent quality bread, brown or white is the best but hard to find.

Homemade would be bacon and soft yolked fried eggs [with pink tops due to splashing oil over the yolks so they're not snotty]. There must be four rashers and two eggs for the perfect sandwich. Bread must be white factory sliced bread buttered with real butter and egg yolks broken and spread over the whole sandwich and finally lots of black pepper thereon. Delicious!!
Bought sandwich would be cheese and coleslaw or maybe chicken salad - depends where I would be buying it from really.

I like egg mayo, organic eggs, still ever so slightly warm, proper salty butter on nice soft thick bread!

Or chicken super noodles on the cheap nasty white bread with lashings of butter.

Oh actually! Chippy chips on thick white with lashings of butter!

Never heard of a Rueben so had to google. I want one of those now as well as a bacon, brie and mango chutney....

I love sandwiches too. Most fillings are actually ok if the bread is good.
(Raw onion and pickle excluded)

Crisp sandwich.

Plain crisps on Warburton wholemeal brown sliced loaf. Crushed down so the bread hugs the crisps. 👌

Lightly toasted ciabatta with fresh pesto, mozzarella and sun blushed tomato. Plenty of salt!

Can't eat ham and cheese together - don't know why I'm sure it's delicious.

Other day I had a sandwich - fresh roast chicken straight from oven on a baguette with homemade coleslaw inside too - omg it was heaven

Cheese and tomato on white bread.

brie, bacon and sweet mango chutney on ciabatta bread

or

beef, rocket and good quality creamy horseradish (not the sharp acidic sort)

That’s funny, my favourite one was also from Boots but it was grated carrot, hummus, and roasted red pepper. I recreate it at home sometimes and it’s pretty good … but I love the convenience of being able to pick one up somewhere.

Go wild and have 3 , pick pudding sandwich too .

Apparently as a kid my dad liked banana and condensed milk with a dusting of cocoa powder 🤔

I like chicken, bacon, avocado, lettuce, cucumber on seeded sourdough if cold. Or bacon, brie and chilli chutney if a toastie.

White soft wrap
Hummus spread on all of it
Grated carrot
Chicken pieces (I'm vegan but assume would be as good with real ones
Rocket and spinach salad (just a little)
Chilli sauce.

Heaven. I low carb so a rare treat

Either that, or the really awful low quality over processed white soft bread, chip shop chips, loads and loads of 'butter', salt and ketchup for dipping.
Drooling now.

Very strong cheddar and pickle on Granary bread

Okay so the cold one
mushroom pate, square crisps (cheese and onion flavour), green leaf salad and Mayo on soft granary bread

hot one - halloumi and grilled cherry tomatoes in a wrap

bought one - tuna crunch sub from Tesco

Brie and grapes on fresh crusty white bread or cheese and onion crisps on white sliced bread with lots of butter.

Either the Tuna melt I make OR

Turkey
Spinach
Goats cheese
Hummus
Tomato

In wholemeal pitta. Absolutely fucking lush

BLT with mayo in a soft roll the size of my head

Pepperoni and salami with lettuce, cucumber and jalapeños with sweet onion sauce on a seedy roll

Club sandwich with hot chilli jam
