It looks brilliantly crazy, but there is a very telling sign there that makes me think it is all smoke and mirrors.. with that level of clutter in the house, how is it that the books are organised by colour??? Tsk tsk

I agree,that's really quite odd.

I cannot tell you how much I want to clear that coffee table!! And I've just realised there are TWO of this awful blue fireplaces 😱

KR2023 · 07/06/2023 13:54

That is one helluva busy house

Crikeyalmighty · 07/06/2023 13:54

Bloody horrible

Reallybadidea · 07/06/2023 13:54

Bit minimalist for my taste really

greenspaces4peace · 07/06/2023 13:55

As a rental, how would you keep inventory of damaged or stolen items?
even a single very wealthy person would struggle to not damage anything while being there.
The housekeeping needed to dust all that would be annoying.

lostat · 07/06/2023 13:55

Shit the bed. That would actually be stunning if it was emptied out a bit.

OhComeOnFFS · 07/06/2023 13:59

That article says it is astro turf. That's really shocked me, even more than the psychopathically colour-coded books!

Indigodreaming · 07/06/2023 14:00

I hate colour coded books - how do you find anything!?!?

Peridot1 · 07/06/2023 14:00

I love colour coded books! I have my cook books organised by colour.

That is one very busy house though. I like eclectic but it’s a bit much.

Longwhiskers · 07/06/2023 14:01

Wow, I like it! It’d be fascinating for a poke around to look at all the interesting stuff.

Wow, I'm stunned and disappointed.

Cattenberg · 07/06/2023 14:01

Never mind the astroturf, what about the FOUR dishwashers?

userxx · 07/06/2023 14:01

How much!!!! Sweet Jesus.

I love the garden apart from the plastic grass, pretty sure real grass would struggle to grow with the amount of shading from the trees, but even so.

Bit too cluttered inside for my liking but he does get around and clearly likes bringing back momentous of his travels.

TheBadgersArse · 07/06/2023 14:02

Got a migraine just looking at it

That kitchen is disgusting

and the PRICE😳

TheMurderousGoose · 07/06/2023 14:02

Far too busy, but in a very boring way. I like a bit of maximalism but that house is full of uninteresting tat. Hate the blue tiled fireplaces and the mishmash kitchen.

Lindy2 · 07/06/2023 14:02

How on earth can it be rented with all that stuff still in it? The pre letting inventory and checking out report would be an absolute nightmare.

It's rather strange.

PickAChew · 07/06/2023 14:03

I mostly love that but...

Those books are distracting.
The kitchen looks impossible to keep clean
Those green bathroom floor tiles look lethal and the metal bath makes me shiver, just looking at it.
That grass.

hennybeans · 07/06/2023 14:03

I love it! I think it’s different, full of things that probably are loved by the family. I imagine most houses in that price range are decorated by an interior designer, less cluttered yes, but very impersonal. I love the blue fireplaces and the green tiles on the bathroom floor.

PieonaBarm · 07/06/2023 14:07

I couldn't be bothered dusting all that stuff. Those upside down umbrellas are just asking to be filled up with dust!

ReeseWitherfork · 07/06/2023 14:08

Indigodreaming · 07/06/2023 14:00

I hate colour coded books - how do you find anything!?!?

I find it really easy. My fiction books are sorted by colour. I always remember what colour a book was. But tbh most of the time I don’t need to find a specific one, I just have a browse to see what I fancy reading. Non fiction aren’t.

MonumentalLentil · 07/06/2023 14:08

Fake grass can burn paws. He should know better.

North Kensington? Didn't that used to be Earls Court? Renamed to make it more expensive maybe.

Zarataralara · 07/06/2023 14:08

I couldn’t scroll through all the photos, all the clutter was freaking me out. And those awful fireplaces. And umbrellas hanging from the ceiling, why, just why? Who dusts all this crap.
I could live with the garden.

MonumentalLentil · 07/06/2023 14:10

Something makes me think the books are decorative and not for reading...they are so carefully arranged.

AgathaX · 07/06/2023 14:11

I like it mainly. There are bits I'm not keen on - EATS, umbrellas, some of the decor - but it'd be unusual to like everything in a person's home.

I hope the grass is real though. I think it probably is and just a very flat lawn and newly mown.

MorrisZapp · 07/06/2023 14:12

HOW FKN MUCH??? Is that a typo? My brain cannot cope.

It's busy as hell but if you remove the shite I dare say it's lovely. I love the bathroom but the two light blue fireplaces are unlivable.

So it's a no from me, sorry Ben and Mrs Ben.
