I loved Watership Down as a kid. I watched it obsessively and the book was also a favourite.

I loved AFW. Mr Pheasant seeing a roasted Mrs Pheasant on the windowsill was very dark too though.

Yes - I found them creepy, but it was nice to see someone that had a calliper when I did.

I've tried to get my dcs age 15 & 10 to watch
the films I loved as child with me some have
been mentioned already on this thread such
as Watership down (bright eyes song still
brings me to tears) , Grease, Stand by me,
Ferris buellers day of, the breakfast club plus
others and the dc are just not interested and
say they'll be sooo boring!
The only ones they've watch which were my
all time childhood favourites actually are the
Karate kid films 1,2&3. mind you they've only
watched them because of the current kobra
kai TV series thats been on!
