Baby born lol 😂 I had every other doll but I wanted this one

A La Carte kitchen. I thought it actually worked.

Mr Frosty! I bought one for a fellow teacher for christmas and she cried because she had always wanted one! But now used for other drinks than advertised lol

BHRK · 06/06/2023 06:50

Mr Frosty

NorthWestThree · 06/06/2023 06:51

Everyone's is always a Mr Frosty 😂

Poorlysister · 06/06/2023 06:53

I always wanted dreamphone. The older girl over the road had one and she let me play once, pined for one ever since!

mnahmnah · 06/06/2023 06:55

I knew it would be Mr Frosty before I clicked on it! Me too.

However, as the best mum ever, I bought it for my own children. I now understand why my parents never bought it for me! What a load of rubbish!

I was desperate for a Girls' World but my rather forward thinking dm thought it was a bad example telling girls they had to be bothered about hair & make-up. She meant well but I really wanted one!

My little pony stable

GreenMarigold · 06/06/2023 06:58

My little pony castle

YellowAndGreenToBeSeen · 06/06/2023 06:58

Me too with Girls World and also Barbie or Sindy. My mother also thought they gave a non-feminist message.

I was desperate for them!

HarpyValley · 06/06/2023 06:59

I had Mr Frosty; it was crap and overrated.

I always wanted some Weebles and that toy treehouse thing.

Triptastico · 06/06/2023 07:02

A Girl's World. Always wanted one never had one.

Margotshypotheticaldog · 06/06/2023 07:04

My dolls were all Sindy and her horses, but we majorly coveted Barbie's 3 story house. It was just another reason for us to hate Barbie.
( me and the Sindys that is....)

Etch a sketch

Andanotherone01 · 06/06/2023 07:05

Mr Frosty. DD has one now and it’s as rubbish as my mum said it was 35 years ago 🤣

ChimChimeny · 06/06/2023 07:06

Sylvanian families. I was briefly friends with a girl who had loads, I loved going to her house!

justme2022 · 06/06/2023 07:07

My mum got me a mr frosty for my 40th birthday to make up for never letting me have one as a kid. It was a safety issue due to all those children cutting their fingers off in them. At 40 i was deemed old enough to not lose a digit while making slushy drinks.

I've never heard of it!

Margotshypotheticaldog · 06/06/2023 07:08

Magnificent piece of 70s architecture.

What was the toy you always wished you could have as a child?
snowlady4 · 06/06/2023 07:08

Mr Frosty
My mum used to say, that's crap you don't want that- get some ice out of the freezer if you want to play with ice!!! (My cousin had it and the other suggestion was to play with hers!)
Eventually got it for my 21st!- and it got left in the pub! I was never destined to have him!

My Little Pony castle, the one that came with the unicorn with a blue mane. My best friend had it and I loved to play with it.

Never got the castle but I bought the unicorn on eBay when I was about 22 - buying cheap vintage ones, cleaning them up and selling on was a bit of a thing for a while. It sat on my bookcase for a while before going on to a charity shop!
