I’m absolutely freezing this evening and just put the heating on. Anyone else cold?

Bloody freezing in Yorkshire
Watching the sunny cricket in London on TV

EvilElsa · 01/06/2023 19:42

Still nice and warm here (Cotswolds). Went on a walk this afternoon and had a vest top on as the sun was beaming down.

InTheStars · 01/06/2023 19:42

No, not cold at all, but I'm on the south coast. Where are you?

leccybill · 01/06/2023 19:42

You're kidding! We're on our 6th day of sunbathing weather in Liverpool 😀

SirenSays · 01/06/2023 19:43

No heating yet but I've dug my fluffy socks and oodie back out of storage

Gardendad · 01/06/2023 19:44

Its 2nd week of 22 and 23 degrees in Ireland. Currently 19 degrees outside.

IronCandle · 01/06/2023 19:44

I’m in Buckinghamshire.

Yep! This morning was absolutely freezing, this afternoon was scorching and now I’m sat in bed in an oodie because I’m not putting the heating on 😂😂

FiveGoMadInDorset · 01/06/2023 19:47

Too hot to walk the dog here until 6, Dorset

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · 01/06/2023 19:47

London and I've put my socks on but that's about as drastic as it got.

bibbityboppityboo · 01/06/2023 19:48

I'm NW - this morning I had a coat on for work and it was freezing, this evening I'm sat in the sun with a cold drink and my thermostat inside is reading 25* 😂

mamaduckbone · 01/06/2023 19:48

Same here - the past 2 days have been freezing. I'm in the midlands and feeling very disgruntled with half term.

marshmallowsforbreakfast · 01/06/2023 19:48

Freezing here in the midlands, I've had jumpers on and considered the heating.

I came back from 2.5wks visiting relatives in Ireland on Tuesday and it was definitely warmer there, unusually.

It is chilly here when the sun drops down, which it wasn’t over there! I have been in shorts for last 2 weeks, but thinking I may need to put some trousers on tonight!

ShinyPikachu · 01/06/2023 19:49

NE Scotland and I've got all the windows open and had to close my curtains over as the sun was bouncing off the TV. It was chilly this morning but the rest of the day has made up for that.

BelindaBears · 01/06/2023 19:50

NE, it’s been cloudy here the past couple of days but no need for heating. It hasn’t dropped into single figures even overnight.

namechangedforthis9 · 01/06/2023 19:51

I'm in SW London and put the heading on this morning Blush

BatshitCrazyWoman · 01/06/2023 19:52

It's about 13 degrees here, and I'm not that warm sitting on the sofa watching TV. I've not put the heating on yet ...!

It was really cold this morning, with a brisk north easterly wind. It's been like this for weeks now, I'm on the London/Kent border. Warmer in the west, I think.

Met office is saying 21 degrees in Dorchester, is this a Dorset somewhere else in the world? I don't like the heat and even I wouldn't call 21 degrees too hot.

Doggymummar · 01/06/2023 19:53

I'm in Brighton and have on my oidie socks and slippers. Hot water bottle in the oidie pocket. It's 19 degrees in the lounge and 35 in the conservatory but I'm always cold.

thefemaleJoshLyman · 01/06/2023 19:54

Freezing here too. We're in Cambs. Hoping for a sunny and warmer weekend.

Scont · 01/06/2023 19:54

My living room is currently 23.5° no heating needed in the SW :)

I’m in Buckinghamshire.

Not far from there and I got sunburnt today! We currently have all the windows open to get some cool air in. Evenings are still really mild but you must live in a barn if you need to put heating on!

runningonberocca · 01/06/2023 19:54

I’m so glad to read this. I’ve been sitting here telling myself I can’t be switching the heating on in June. I’m on the sofa with my winter brushed cotton duvet over me. I think you’ve just given me permission to turn on the bloody heating!

Qilin · 01/06/2023 19:54

We gave in last night too, and considering it again now.
Also in Yorkshire and its cold!
