It's been a while, I haven't had one since new years eve and it's safe to say I am scandalised.....

For reference it was one bag of salt and pepper chicken balls with a bag of chips

One mixed meat satay with fried rice.

A tub of mixed ribs.

One tub of crispy seaweed but it's not seaweed.

It would be about £25 here

Whatever takeaway I get nowadays ends up at £25-30. There are two of us but we order enough to have leftovers the next day.

Yes I know its not massive but we had a large meal at lunch time so not starving starving but had a full on day and couldn't be bothered cooking.

Where we are, roughly £25 for that

Just ordered virtually identical except we also ordered chicken chow mein! Came to £42 including delivery.

Well having spent £51 on fish and chips for three people recently …. and I’m still boring people with this … I’d say £50.

We don’t have all those at ours, but choosing the next closest option was around £26. We live in the arse end of nowhere though and stuff is relatively cheap. But an Indian for Dh and I and 2 primary age dc is about £35-40.

My kids refuse to eat takeaways me and my husband dream of the day we can order whatever we want. No point if I have to cook for them anyway!

About a tenner per person is pretty normal, isn't it, for a dish with rice or chips? You used to be able to get a small doner kebab round our way for £5 but they shut down about 3 months ago.
