Just seen on Instagram that PS is stepping down with immediate effect from This morning!
I mean, I'm not that bothered but there's been lots of speculation recently re his brother's conviction and the rumoured spat with Holly but I thought it would probably all blow over.
I'm sure he's got a bob or two is loaded but I'm still a bit surprised if I'm honest.

Hooray!

Allhailkingcharlie · 20/05/2023 15:14

Just seen too! Problem was it's common knowledge that he told his brother to never do it again rather than reporting. You can't come back from that!

rainbowstardrops · 20/05/2023 15:14

Well yeah, I don't think it was possible for him to stay and nor should he!

I never watch day time TV so I still don’t really understand what he has actually done wrong . Surely his brothers behaviour is not his responsibility.

Connect3 · 20/05/2023 15:15

I suspect it's more to do with skeletons in his own cupboard than his brother.

TwilightSkies · 20/05/2023 15:15

He groomed a teenager! It’s common knowledge.

TokyoSushi · 20/05/2023 15:18

👀

SmashingOwl · 20/05/2023 15:20

I 'think' the whole thing regarding not reporting his brother to the police is because his brother told him it was a one off and the boy was over 16

So yes deeply disturbing etc but not illegal - given the age. It would not be a police issue

Far more likely tbh is the skeletons in Phil's own closet

grayhairdontcare · 20/05/2023 15:20

He's finally gone!

TomatoSandwiches · 20/05/2023 15:20

It will be a divorce next, then more people coming out of the woodwork now he is no longer under certain protections and about bloody time too.

So knowing your brother has sexually abused a child but not saying anything is OK? Not bothering to go to the police, just telling him not to do it again, you think that's alright?

I agree! I think I read somewhere last week that he'd hired a lawyer. Probably gagging orders put in left, right and centre!

Good. I hope Holly follows suit tbh.

There’s far too many skeletons in his closet that I don’t believe those he worked very closely with didn’t know about. The business with his brother was the final nail in the coffin.

AnarchoTyranny · 20/05/2023 15:23

Good.

CosmosQueen · 20/05/2023 15:24

I don’t understand why he wasn’t sacked long ago. Thankfully I don’t watch GMTV as can’t stand the presenters.

PenelopeTitsDrop3121 · 20/05/2023 15:25

About bloody time he took the hint 👍👍👍He's not liked.

I didn’t know that .I new his brother had been prosecuted but not that PS new and ignored. I made it quite clear in my post that I didn’t know what he had done wrong! Your reply has come across as unnecessarily hostile and aggressive @MakesMeFeelSad

MyCupIsFull · 20/05/2023 15:28

Good

PenelopeTitsDrop3121 · 20/05/2023 15:28

Tattle seem to think a story is going to break tomorrow.

Connect3 · 20/05/2023 15:31

What is the story behind why he's been protected for so long?

It is so much like what happened with JS, with various people trying to say whatbthey nnow for a while now. How has it happned again? How can a TV presenter be so important as to be untouchable? Until now, anyway.

CherryCokeFanatic · 20/05/2023 15:32

Hopefully Holly next. She is awful.

Tbh watching or not watching daytime tv won't make any difference to your knowledge of Schofield

Dontjudgeme101 · 20/05/2023 15:36

l am glad that he’s gone. He should of been sacked!
