It's a ridiculous thing to get annoyed about.

I'm not annoyed about Clare Balding getting it wrong (although it's pretty poor of the BBC given that they have several hundred people working at BBC Cymru Wales who could have told her how to say it, not to mention Huw Edwards).

I did find it a bit annoying when a PP dismissed it - there is obviously a political/cultural implication of not bothering to use the preferred Welsh name. Not a great look for the national broadcaster covering a national event.

Probably not allowed to smoke inside the palace as it's a workplace! Rubbish

It doesn’t feel like your son has died though, so to say it feels like he has ‘lost’ a son straight after mentioning the passing of his parents is unfortunate. To most losing someone means that person dying. Harry has not died, and Charles does not feel like he has. Better to say that he may also be wishing they were not alienated, or that his son is not as present in his daily life as he used to be.

This is out of time because it happened this morning, but one super thing was Antonio Pappano conducting while Pretty Yende sang, in that long time when people were drifting in.
