What minor laws would you introduce?

If you were put in charge of Everything for a few weeks, what minor laws would you introduce? I'm thinking things that would be really easy to implement, and would make people's lives easier.

I would make it the law that manufacturers of electronic devices had to indicate on the outside of the product which batteries it needs (type and how many). I'm fed up of having to take the battery cover off, check what's in there, and then either put the cover back on (fiddling with a tiny screwdriver), or leave it off somewhere (to inevitably lose it) until I can get new batteries for the thing.

While they're at it, they can make the cover permanently attached to the device so it doesn't get lost. But not attached in a way that makes it impossible to reach the batteries.

It's "railway station", of course. "Train station" is just all kinds of wrong, and sets my teeth on edge whenever I hear it.

Ban on caravans, on the road or parked. Just all caravans.

Police caution for using ‘of’ instead of ‘have’.

Ban on stereos/ music in gardens.

No private schools.
Education system that is much more standardised i.e. all kids using the same phonics system, same maths programme, etc.

All children in a year taught together - no top sets, lower sets, etc.

Much more outdoor time, hands on learning; less sitting + passive listening in a classroom.

4 day school weeks.

For grown ups - 4 day work weeks.

As a former gifted child, getting rid of sets sounds awful. School was tedious enough as it was going at the pace of the slowest person in set 1. Some children need to be stretched and some need additional support - having them all in the same class would be very difficult to meet all their needs. Very in favour of 4 day weeks though!

A monthly (or weekly) limit on emoji use. Once you have used up your allowance of smiley faces, poo symbols, unicorns etc. that’s it, they are automatically disabled (or you are charged £5 each time, proceeds going to the local cats’ home).

But so so many dc are struggling with phonics as is. Why on earth earth do you want too reduce choice? We need to far more variety and flexibility in everything in education!!

People who don't pick up after their dogs get their noses rubbed in it.

All cyclists to wear helmets, high vis vest and handle bar cam.

Drivers overtaking cyclists must do so safely or go on a cyclists awareness course (see handlebar cam).

Children in family friendly pubs to be supervised properly at all times (none in adult only pubs) and not allowed to run amock.

MPs to spend 6months plus on benefits in social housing.

Better working conditions for everyone.

Plugs with a good, secure loop built into the top, making it easier to get out of the socket. I particularly struggle getting my iPhone charger out of the socket. 🌹

Anyone in government making changes e.g introducing uc should have to use the system themselves for a year or overseeing education should be someone who was a teacher.
Anyone not paying child support should be publicly humiliated by wearing a permanent shirt saying "shit parent I don't pay for my children" until that child reaches 18.

Sets don't tend to advantage those in the bottom ones though. Either way, it feels like someone misses out.

Make dog licences mandatory along with an annual vet check to get it reissued.
Dog wardens to cover all areas of the country and to have instant powers to control owners as well as their dogs.
