What other foods have turned to rubbish?

I don’t need ham and pickle. Never had them. It’s the sheer burning heat of the beef and mustard I long for. And the actual crisps were so thick as well. I’ve actually emailed KP snacks and asked them how many signatures they would need to bring them back

I love Tony’s chocolate and Hotel Chocolat is lovely too but I also eat Cadbury’s and Mars bars.

Maybe it’s taste buds that change as you get older…..

I wonder if that’s why I no longer seem to like biscuits? I’ve been a lifelong lover of biscuits and recently thought to myself I just don’t seem to like them anymore but couldn’t say why specifically.

Kettle chips, the original cheese ones from about 30yrs ago. They're horrid now.

@TwoMonthsOff I really can’t work out what they did to make them so weird. You couldn’t even dunk them anymore because of the claggy texture. I even wrote to them (I really love digestive biscuits!) and there was some explanation about another factory because of covid supply issues or something and a voucher was sent. I don’t believe this explanation and I chose to use it for rich tea instead. I would bet it was a cost cutting exercise.

Snickers. Used to have full on roasted peanuts and decent chocolate. Not the nuts are tiny bits and the chocolate is thin, in fact the whole thing has shrunk!
Milky way is now sickly over sweet goop in the middle.
I miss Tab clear, Cadbury Secret, and Refreshers.

I want to buy locazade but I'm always taken back in a Proustian way to lying ill on the sofa as child and associate it with feeling feeble and queasy.

Frazzles no longer give you that bacony hit and seem all puffy.

Mcvities digestives I bought a packet on holiday and they were those horrible healthy ones by mistake. Specially bought the original style ones urrrgh still awful. Keep toying with the idea of having a go at making them myself. They need to be very short.
