Anybody else have a word they can’t stand?

Two words I hate for reasons unknown to me - moist and buggy. No idea why.

By contrast, I love ‘bumble bee’ and again I have no justification.

Surely I’m not the only oddball who has this irrational like/dislike of words?

Pubes 🤮 I feel embarrassed saying the word and also nom nom nom, just eat your food nobody wants to hear the stupid noise words of you liking it.

Oh and also when people use the word essentially in a sentence where it's not essential to use the word essentially.

Any swear words. Because i dont swear. At all.

Just came back from a restaurant, and their dessert menu had the option of a hot drink with a small dessert or a smidgen of cheese and the word smidgen made me shiver!

I have another - dirty! When used to describe food,

Makes them sound disgusting.

Obviously moist like everyone else but I also hate the word chocolate. It's just too overpronounced if that makes sense? "Choc-o-lat" eeww! I can't hardly even bring myself to say it which is tricky when I want some because I bloody love the stuff!

It also really winds me up when people say 'smashed it'. Regular offenders get blocked 😅
