What outside noise can you hear right now?

What noises can you from either outside or from your neighbours? So not noises that are being made from from your own family.

I have just heard the air ambulance go over (I live 2 miles from base), I can hear what sounds like somebody shoveling gravel and also my neighbour banging around in his kitchen (he is incapable of doing anything without making a racket!)

@ladymacbeth Oh dear, I'm so sorry. This whole running around thing, dropping heavy things is inconsiderate.

I lived briefly under a student of sorts who had a penchant for slamming his feet on the floor and throwing furniture around. Wasn't very nice 😕

I cannot hear anything here always quiet here on sundays as most children around here visit grandparents. Son has ruined peace and quiet with football match on. Dog is moving around in her bed.

Seagulls, people talking as they walk past the house (we are straight onto the pavement) and cars. But mostly seagulls.

Nothing, but a bus will probably go by in a minute. Our neighbours in one side go away every weekend, and on our other side he’s almost never here. We’re not a very doggy neighbourhood.

Dp just went past on his (noisy) motorcycle. Sea gulls are having a territorial war with the local crowd based on the sheer volume and number on the roof opposite (either end, it's jets v shark's honestly!)

I can hear some kind of Europop and people chatting and laughing . I am in an apartment in the centre of Torremolinos.

I’m deaf and have awful tinnitus that I generally manage to ignore.
There was clay pigeon shooting on the neighbouring airfield but they’ve stopped. Next door neighbour is erecting a new fence between us so a bit of hammering from time to time. DDog is snoring.
Other than that it’s peaceful.
We rarely hear anything other than birdsong up here on my estate; it’s wonderfully quiet although there are a number of families with children.

Next door is attempting (badly) to assemble some prebuilt outdoor kitchen, I might send DH to help so it's finished before midnight. Sounds like someone else is power washing

Absolutely nothing. I don't even hear any cars going along the road. We're in the middle of our town, just about a 5 minute walk to the town centre but our street is usually really quiet unless there are kids playing outside which there doesn't seem to be today.

Elderly neighbour's T.V. She is going deaf but refuses to wear her hearing aids.....ooh I think Jessica Fletcher has stumbled on a clue. Yep the T.V is that loud.
