I think she looks very stylish.

I was at least a stone and a half heavier at university than in my teens and twenties after. All that freedom to make your own food choices, not ruled by mealtimes etc. my friends were the same - the Freshman 15 as the yanks call it.

Kate’s mum and sister are also very slim - she’s clearly not anorexic. Lots of muscle tone, like her sister, tall and has to be a bit of a clothed horse. She’s the same size as most other UMC wealthy women who commit to their diet and exercise for their looks and health. She obviously loves sports too, again, like her sister.

I lost a stone in my first term at Uni. I went on to lose more. I was very slim at Uni. A lot slimmer than I am now!

But her complexion, her hair, all healthy. So she isn't starving herself to maintain this, also look at her muscle tone. Even recently in Boston in the green dress her legs, calfs all good muscle tone on it

Hate to ackshully this but very thin women (like model thin, not normie thin) have very bad hair, but you wouldn’t know because we can whip it into shape for events.

Looking at KM, I think it’s a wiglet she’s now wearing for extra volume. Clearly she’s done something to her hair, all you have to do is look at those old photos linked above. No hairdresser on earth can add the kind of volume you see now without extensions and hairpieces.

Also, her skin is not so great from too much tanning, extreme dieting and (probably) smoking. You can see this damage when they don’t use photoshop and is taken in normal lighting.

I say all this not to denigrate KM but to point out this isn’t a function of genetics, she’s clearly had help along the way, you kind of have to do this if you will be in the public eye. It’s hard to believe there are people who think it’s all natural!

I think it’s also quite clear she had at least a blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery—George Clooney is most famous example of how this surgery can really open up the face) and possibly a nose job.

Before anyone says anything, MM has had loads of work done too. And very good work, I have to say 😉

I agree with those who think Kate is looking far too thin. Just look at her on the walkabout at Windsor Castle after the Queen's death. Does no-one remember Diana's eating disorders? With the rumours of Williams infidelity I have to wonder if she's going down the same route. I hope not 😕

Yeah, Diana was unwell, and the bloody yammering about her weight, appearance etc contributed to it, so just leave Kate alone.

I am not sure that people saying she looks great and healthy necessarily helps her or others with similar issues either though.

It's just part of the general culture of caring only about appearances

Well when I met her a few weeks ago and looked at her in the flesh, her skin and eyes looked bright and healthy to me. 😳 But more than happy to agree to disagree.

She's really not emaciated though, she's slim very slim, but not once when I looked at her did I thing ED and starvation.

Maybe she's just stressed and lost some weight, happens to me when I'm stressed.

I will say though when she's pregnant she does glow and she gains weight like any other slim woman, women with ED's tend not to, and the pregnancy can be difficult to manage.

Yeah she's had work done, fillers, Botox and whatnot, but I've also had plastic surgery so can't blame her, if she wanted it and could afford it so what 🤣

MM is also a beautiful woman though I agree with you there, and like many has also had some work done, but if you have the money and time, why not I say!

Blankscreen · 28/12/2022 10:05

Omg leave the poor woman alone.

A thread about a coat and now posters critiquing her looks and whether she an eating disorder.

If she does, the posts on here aren't going to help her mental state and if she hasn't then good for her.

I have absolutely no time for the Royal Family but some people are far too invested.

ClaudiusTheGod · 28/12/2022 10:24

Her teeth and mouth look different these days, going by the old photos linked above. Something other than age. I’m not sure what it is though.

MintyFreshOne · 28/12/2022 10:28

Absolutely. There’s nothing wrong with cosmetic procedures, it’s not a moral failing and we really should talk about them like we talk about braces. All this talk about ‘natural beauty’ and such is more harmful imho.

We fall for the ‘natural beauty’ thing like men fall for the ‘no make-up’ look (which usually requires make-up to achieve 😂)

DillDanding · 28/12/2022 11:46

When people (on here) say Botox looks awful, they should look at Kate. Hers is very good.

Blossomtoes · 28/12/2022 11:58

Unfortunately very few people can afford good botox.
