Love Kate's coat today, anyone know where it's from?

I think she looks very stylish.

I think it was also that Meghan was confident enough to do her own thing and not conform to a ‘royal style’ that gave Kate the confidence to branch out and wear more stuff she likes. You hardly ever saw her in trousers before.

It was reported in the early days Kate got a lot of ‘notes’ from the Queen after engagements on satorial mistakes or things Her Maj didn’t think were up to scratch. Then for one of the early tours the Queen even lent Kate her personal dresser Angela Kelly to create a more “Queen in training” type wardrobe.

Angela Kelly always made the Queen look lovely but she was used to dressing an 80 year old and wouldn’t have helped Kate push any style boundaries.

I suspect that Kate saw Meghan doing her own thing and thought what the hell I’m getting trousers on tomorrow too.

She looks perfectly country attired. Very Fairfax and Favour with the hat and boots. Spot on for Sandringham

I like it but it does make me laugh how no one seemed to notice how much her team stepped up her style game after Meghan joined

I don't go to church. I don't believe in god bit her outfit is not great. I also don't like seeing George trussed up in a suit. Same with Louis in shorts and long songs. Just let them be kids.

He didn’t look “trussed up” to me. It’s probably what he has to wear for school.

I didn't like the breast pockets. She's so tall and gorgeous she looked great in it though.

I would be interested to see if she looks far too thin in real life. She reminds me of Diana in terms of unnatural thinness. I don’t believe she is that thin naturally, and it’s not healthy at all.

I met her in the flesh about 8-10weeks ago. Yes she's slim, but she is not "painfully thin" or "emaciated" or anything like that.

She's tall, long in the torso, and slim.

But you know what, she's also a lovely person, which I think matters more. I spoke to her for a while about the charity work, and she was lovely. She comes across as genuine, warm and funny.

I like the hat and the coat also. She looks lovely.

If you look at photos of Diana she is positively sturdy looking compared Kate.

She invariably dresses so boringly, I don’t think she’s interested in fashion, so that’s fine.

Certainly in her later years. But in the early years of her marriage she was painfully thin.

Wow some of these comments just come across as catty jealousy, im hinestly guessing they are from folks who dress like a bag of spanners. And the picking apart her body and efen guessing if she’s anorexic is awful. Some women are awful to other women.

It took me way longer than it should have done to think who Kate was.
I agree though. It's a nice coat.

I thought she looked fabulous. Gorgeous outfit and I loved the earrings. She looked happy and pretty.

I’m failing to see any irony in that.

She always looks great , my favorite coat of hers was a pink one she wore to a school in East london once ( the day after they aired the Oprah interview with Harry )
That was lovely as was the red one she wore for the service at Westminster abbey the other day

@Blossomtoes it's not that difficult to understand. That poster said women shouldn't be criticizing other women and described other women as dressing like a bag of spanners! And yes, I'm sure none of us dress as smart or polished as Kate, mainly because we don't have access to those kinds of clothes or professionals to do our hair that often or the highest end products.

Your knowledge of fashion history is sadly lacking if you genuinely believe that. It didn’t look like this, did it?

Kate is stylish in the sense that everything looks good and suits her and is well put together. She's not trendy...but she's not trying to be. Trendy would mean that in years to come,the photos would look very dated. She will be queen one day...she aims for classic and elegant, not trendy or edgy.
