Love these threads for getting dinner ideas. I'll start. We're having chinese chicken fried rice, using some of the whole chicken we roasted this morning.

What are you having?

Red onion, peppers and mushroom pasta bake with Goats cheese. We use protein pasta for extra goodness.

Lsquiggles · 27/10/2022 16:48

Tonight I'm just chucking in a ready made lasagne and garlic bread, it'll do!

Igglepiggleslittletoe · 27/10/2022 16:51

For adults it is potato leek and bacon soup with garlic toasts and a bottle of wine. For kids it is tempura prawns, potato waffles and beans.

Spaghetti Bolognese

Simple bangers and mash tonight. The pork chipolatas from Aldi are lovely. 😋

LoliLouToo · 30/10/2022 16:47

Roast chicken, roast potatoes, carrot and swede mash, sprouts (home grown, so so many to pick/eat), broccoli, stuffing, gravy and cranberry sauce.

Tonight we had slow cooker beef and broccoli from taming twins. It was nice but a bit salty, we had with rice and some more broccoli!

I’ve tried this, too. Out of my family of six, I was the only one who ate it! It wasn’t as nice as I was expecting. If I made it again I’d put far less ketchup in it than the recipe asks for! 🤢

BrutusMcDogface · 30/10/2022 17:07

Tonight is a sandwiches night as the kids had pizza for lunch. Very healthy. 😳 shopping coming very late tonight.

Violettaa · 30/10/2022 17:14

Veggie lentil soup. I’ve also made a tonne of chutney so I’m feeling very virtuous - this is not normal…

Todaynotalways · 30/10/2022 17:18

We're having what we have every Halloween / Halloween Eve:

  • Jacket potatoes
  • Sausages (chicken sausages in this instance)
  • Spicy baked beans
  • Grated cheese

That is the rule!

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 30/10/2022 17:27

Trying the M&S vegan steak pies for the first time. Will do a pan of roasted vege (potatoes, parsnips, carrots, sweet potato, shallots) alongside and maybe some peas. Fancying Savoy cabbage but haven't got any!

Vampirethriller · 30/10/2022 17:30

Roast potato and beetroot fajitas, lemon sponge and custard.

NormaTheWife · 30/10/2022 17:32

Chicken Kiev. Lazy dinner.

mondaytosunday · 30/10/2022 17:43

Yea daughter said chicken Kyiv so that's what's in the oven! I'd have preferred the lamb...

onedayiwillflyaway1 · 30/10/2022 20:54

Chicken Red Thai Curry.

AnchorWHAT · 01/11/2022 14:41

If anyone is remotely interested, tonight i am looking forward to lamb kebab on skewers, ( veggie sausage skewers for DH cos he doesn't eat meat) served with cous cous salad home made coleslaw and home made hummus.

Igglepiggleslittletoe · 01/11/2022 14:49
