Love these threads for getting dinner ideas. I'll start. We're having chinese chicken fried rice, using some of the whole chicken we roasted this morning.

What are you having?

Fried rice here too, with leftover lardons, steamed greens and some dumplings I found at the back of the freezer

Last time I did that it was just tomato sauce I thought it was bolognaise !

I'm having leek pudding too, with mash gravy.

I’m taking the DC and their friends out for dinner tonight.

well….I’m going to the pub for a very large glass of wine and I’ll buy them all dinner while we’re there! 😁

Chicken tinga wraps (simply cook recipe) with sweet potato wedges, mixed leaf salad with coriander and lime wedges and avocado. So looking forward to it!

Some leftover chicken curry from the freezer and I'll make a quick flatbread to scoop it up with. Plus some salad and big dollop of mango chutney.

I was wondering the same thing.

My husband thinks we're having jacket potatoes to be good and save money. I'm planning on persuading him to pick up fish and chips on the way back from getting our son from holiday club.

We are having spinach and cheese lasagne. Never tried it before so hopefully it's good!!

Spaghetti and meatballs. I haven't made it for ages!

Breakfast tacos, bacon, egg, cheese and potato in a tortilla with hot sauce.

I have the other half of a deep dish pizza that DH made last night.
DD (20 months) has mac and cheese with peas and sweetcorn in, her favourite!

It's no effort as the pizza is leftover from yesterday, and I made a big batch of mac and cheese yesterday too, so only needs microwaving!

We're having a chippy tea, arrived back from a weekend away been doing washing and drying so I'm not cooking 😅

Chicken in wine and cream - I'm unusually off work today so have time. It's a simple recipe but needs time, as you have to keep reducing it. I'm making 4 x the recipe so can stock the freezer for when I'm short on time. I will just cook off boneless, skinless chicken thighs and add them in when I use it out of the freezer. It will be served with tagliatelle and I WILL have garlic bread with it. It was fitness week this morning at kickboxing, so I bloody deserve it! 🤣

Slow cooker chicken casserole (thighs - bone in but I’ll debone them before serving - bacon lardons, onion, carrots, garlic, thyme, stock pot thingy, lea and perrins and a good twist of black pepper)- it just needs thickened with some cornflour soon).
Root veg mash (parsnips, swede and potato)
Broccoli and cabbage.

Do you have a recipe for your burgers? Sounds delicious!

Stuffed Peppers (beef mince in a homemade tomato sauce) topped with mozzarella with rice, green beans and tzatziki and the rest of the sticky toffee pudding I made yesterday.

I made a vegan steak, sausage and mushroom pie with puff pasty, roasties, red cabbage and asparagus last night. So tonight we'll be having the other half of the pie, with cheese & chive mash, red cabbage and broccoli.
