Lizz was so honest during this campaign. Unusually honest in fact, for a politician it seems. She told them exactly what she planned, exactly what she was going to do and they all voted for her. Why are they all so angry now? She's literally done exactly what she said she would which was, as I understand, why the public was a bit worried about her.
Why does kwasi have to lose his job for this? I'm genuinely confused.

Someone has to fall on their sword - that’s just way it is. He’ll be told to keep quiet, behave and next year he’ll be back in the cabinet as Minister for Justice or something.

Because the public and economic reaction has been so strong they now all have to pretend that they never agreed and never wanted that to protect their own seats.

This is party suicide, surely they know this? I'm just astounded at the amount of people now wanting Boris back. I remember being slated for being on the side of him not being sacked over partygate. Seems people want someone perfect that can please everyone. Surely the most important part is they can keep the country stable and do their job?

Why would Sunak be offered the role? He has his sights set higher and also, didn’t Liz make a big thing about appointing loyal members to her cabinet rather than anyone who could do a decent job of it..
