This video. I think I was about 9 when dm got it. I was petrified of the case !!!At first I wasn’t sure what it was but it looked scary. Then we watched it and I was told all about nuclear weapons triggering a MASSIVE phobia that has never left me.
Spent my teen years re reading children of the dust over and over and needed therapy where I was told ‘don’t be silly there will never be a threat of it happening’
I used to spend weekends begging my parents to make survival plans with me 😭

I think there was one particular episode where a girl got her hair caught in a swimming pool drain and almost drowned.
I'm always nervous around them when swimming.

There was an episode about it in the 1970s TV series Survivors. I was far too young to be watching it. It terrified me and I've been scared of it ever since.
