PTSD from Tinder Ghosting

So I don’t know if anyone here has been following this so I apologise if there’s already been threads about it, but if not I wondered what people thought of all the online talk about supernatural forces causing trauma by using online dating to lure women into especially spirit receptive locations, then abuse them in supernatural ways. “ghost in the machine” I think is the phrase when a spirit uses technology in this way. Makes sense when you think about it, why wouldn’t bad spirits adapt to a technological world just like they adapted and haunted ships and aeroplanes etc? It’s logical when you think about my it.

I read several really traumatic accounts from women that had met a man they came to know as “Daniel” on tinder and went to a location to meet him (which was a house in Yorkshire) where once they arrived they were greeted by “Daniel” and he let them into the house, but then he disappeared and the door slammed shut and wouldn’t open. Then for the rest of the night they were haunted in the dark by voices of Demons calling themselves “Legion” and then at last once the women were really frightened the Demons took physical form and basically gang banged the women for hours until dawn. All the women said they kind of just woke up in morning and the door was open and they were in a derelict house.

Not surprisingly all of the women have PTSD about this as well as trauma from being mocked by people who don’t believe them (which I think is really nasty considering the assualt element)

I just wondered if anyone had had any experiences like this or knew anyone who had? And what they made of the whole thing? Also do you think Spirits are now being influence by online misogynistic dating culture and it’s radicalising them to do these kind of extreme hauntings?

I don’t know maybe I wouldn’t use tinder or other popular apps but would use a smaller app for now for safety. I don’t know

it is infinitely more likely that these stories are simply an online hoax.

that does not change the fact that women should never meet a stranger in a private place. Even meeting in public and relocating to a private location of her choosing during the first meeting is high risk.

HNRTT but without trivialising sexual assault, did the women seek the MAP to avoid a Rosemary's baby scenario? Are there other-worldly police authorities that can be contacted to seek redress and lock up the miscreants on their side to prevent other women being treated this way? I wonder if Tinder realise their possible liabilities though perhaps they asked the Vatican (other religions may have similar) to second someone to exorcise the inappropriate accounts? Roll on Web 3.0 old apps where angelic blockchain prevents such things happening in the way web 2.0 apps seem to allow.

I don’t get why Spirits would want to have their way with women. I mean, once you’re ethereal, you’re not getting any happy ending, are you, so what’s the point? You may have once been a violent brute of a man, but in Spirit form, you should be in Hell suffering from Eternal Damnation or some similar form of consequences surely? Or am I being naïve about this? At the very least, you should be floating about in an old castle or somewhere trying to photo-bomb unsuspecting tourists, not trying to get rapey with a penis you no longer have 🤔

I’m more scared of the people seemingly taking this seriously than I am of ghosts trying their luck on tinder.
