PTSD from Tinder Ghosting

So I don’t know if anyone here has been following this so I apologise if there’s already been threads about it, but if not I wondered what people thought of all the online talk about supernatural forces causing trauma by using online dating to lure women into especially spirit receptive locations, then abuse them in supernatural ways. “ghost in the machine” I think is the phrase when a spirit uses technology in this way. Makes sense when you think about it, why wouldn’t bad spirits adapt to a technological world just like they adapted and haunted ships and aeroplanes etc? It’s logical when you think about my it.

I read several really traumatic accounts from women that had met a man they came to know as “Daniel” on tinder and went to a location to meet him (which was a house in Yorkshire) where once they arrived they were greeted by “Daniel” and he let them into the house, but then he disappeared and the door slammed shut and wouldn’t open. Then for the rest of the night they were haunted in the dark by voices of Demons calling themselves “Legion” and then at last once the women were really frightened the Demons took physical form and basically gang banged the women for hours until dawn. All the women said they kind of just woke up in morning and the door was open and they were in a derelict house.

Not surprisingly all of the women have PTSD about this as well as trauma from being mocked by people who don’t believe them (which I think is really nasty considering the assualt element)

I just wondered if anyone had had any experiences like this or knew anyone who had? And what they made of the whole thing? Also do you think Spirits are now being influence by online misogynistic dating culture and it’s radicalising them to do these kind of extreme hauntings?

I don’t know maybe I wouldn’t use tinder or other popular apps but would use a smaller app for now for safety. I don’t know

@LaingsAcidTab

But what about how all the stories all similar and from a similar area? Run down house in the same county

Surely no woman would go and meet a date of any type anywhere but a coffee shop in daylight in the middle of somewhere busy.

RooniIWazlib · 20/08/2022 11:47

Confused Is this an attempt at humour?

Hopeandlove · 20/08/2022 11:47

Have you watching Rogue agent on Netflix ? This is based on a true story - he was released after 2 years and has another victim who leaves in France - coercive control is illegal and I don’t understand why his new partner is left alone and not released from his control?

So, if the ghosts are on Tinder...

does that mean I'm finally in with a chance with Steve McQueen?

It actually doesn’t work this way. Hauntings are not done by real men but rather by eternal demons. I actually have quite a bit of experience here though I know that many won’t believe that and that’s ok.

The demons that the OP is referring to “Legion” is actually the same group of demons which Jesus Christ did battle with and drove from a man into the Sea of Galilee as recounted in the Bible. In more modern times it has been the suspected demons or confirmed demons in many hauntings and is well known as one of the most vindictive psychologically of all demons (or groups of demons), responsible for many hauntings and possession of humans. As such these cruel sexual attacks and trickery in the lead up, coupled with the fact the demons know that their victim will not be believed (which is a further continuation of their cruelty and planned by them) do make these stories, while seemingly fantastic, at least worthy of examination to me.

I will try to find out more.

The house didn’t appear derelict when they went there - only the next morning. It changed appearance that was why they went in and were confused and the police didn’t believe them

To be fair, that’s happened to me too. Although it was the bloke rather than his house that looked decidedly more derelict the next morning.

Was it called Brigadoon.

Maybe have a little lie down at the same time.

You absolutely cannot tell if a man is dangerous or not by how tidy his house is!! Meeting strangers at their home is far more dangerous than spooks on dating sites

@Octomore

I have been into mens houses like that before and it was fine they were all pretty nice (even though one smelt weird and I think he was high) but I’m rethinking it now.

Who would go to a man's house that they have never meet before from on line dating. You should meet in public, for coffee or a drink. Sorry but going to random strangers homes seems pretty risky to me. As for spirits, really. Also can you share the article, think this is all about?

I'm disappointed to discover upon googling that OP has invented this on the spot. I was rather hoping it was another bollocks rabbit hole I could disappear down.

LOL!

@AngelinaFibres

I actually do have a lot of experience. It doesn’t matter if people laugh at me, all that matters is that my husband and I have helped many people in this predicament and that’s why I know on a very real level about “Legion”.

PearlclutchersInc · 20/08/2022 11:57

PTSD from online dating?

Ghosts in the machine 🙄

I thought Ed and Lorraine Warren were dead?

I think you have an appropriate user name.

ParasiticMicrowasp · 20/08/2022 11:58

Although, going by the rest of the thread, that apparently wouldn't stop them.

My user name is a tribute to some greats of the field. I would never use my own name here.

Ok, this is just downright offensive.
Poor ickle abusive men. It's not their fault they attack women. It was the demons that made them do it.

Cherchezlaspice · 20/08/2022 12:05

This thread is wholly unexpected and absolutely magnificent.

Pinkypie86 · 20/08/2022 12:06

Too much paranormal TV and/or YouTube. It's a rabbit hole you've clearly been down and, sadly you've believed every word.

Watch some hearty, good for you TV and have a cuppa.

Ghost might well be real but, they're certainly not using Tinder as a way to get their kicks!!

I think you and your husband have spent a bit too much time down the Legion…
