PTSD from Tinder Ghosting

So I don’t know if anyone here has been following this so I apologise if there’s already been threads about it, but if not I wondered what people thought of all the online talk about supernatural forces causing trauma by using online dating to lure women into especially spirit receptive locations, then abuse them in supernatural ways. “ghost in the machine” I think is the phrase when a spirit uses technology in this way. Makes sense when you think about it, why wouldn’t bad spirits adapt to a technological world just like they adapted and haunted ships and aeroplanes etc? It’s logical when you think about my it.

I read several really traumatic accounts from women that had met a man they came to know as “Daniel” on tinder and went to a location to meet him (which was a house in Yorkshire) where once they arrived they were greeted by “Daniel” and he let them into the house, but then he disappeared and the door slammed shut and wouldn’t open. Then for the rest of the night they were haunted in the dark by voices of Demons calling themselves “Legion” and then at last once the women were really frightened the Demons took physical form and basically gang banged the women for hours until dawn. All the women said they kind of just woke up in morning and the door was open and they were in a derelict house.

Not surprisingly all of the women have PTSD about this as well as trauma from being mocked by people who don’t believe them (which I think is really nasty considering the assualt element)

I just wondered if anyone had had any experiences like this or knew anyone who had? And what they made of the whole thing? Also do you think Spirits are now being influence by online misogynistic dating culture and it’s radicalising them to do these kind of extreme hauntings?

I don’t know maybe I wouldn’t use tinder or other popular apps but would use a smaller app for now for safety. I don’t know

I agree. Similarly, it's pretty offensive to describe what amounts to a gang rape as a gangbang. I'm not sure that OP has thought either her (literally incredible) story or her reporting style through.

Real (passed to the other side) men are not responsible for the majority of bad hauntings. They are caused by eternal demons, like “Legion” as described by OP. I’m also pretty sure most of these women wouldn’t have heard of “Legion” which is what leads credibility to their story.

I find their accusations of Demonic assault credible.

If I was considering a dating app. I'd dip my toe in the water with a site like this. Tinder always seems to be more of an urban site. There's a lot of weird dross in cities

@Leafy3 you’re missing out, there are some good guys on tinder, the best relationship I had was this guy, I think he is still on there, we only split because he worked in hospitality, worked all hours and used to hang around his hotel bar more often than I liked, the hotel gave me bad vibes especially the bar man, red flags 🚩 date was a nice enough though.

Which part? It’s literally biblical that Jesus did battle with “Legion” and drive them from the man into the sea. It’s well established in paranormal fields that the same “Legion” has been responsible for multiple cruel possessions and hauntings over the centuries and even in recent decades. Often sexual depravity seems to play some role.

You do know that just because you put two different topics into the same paragraph doesn't actually make them both true? I'm happy, as a Christian, to believe the Legion story. (Not happy about the pigs but...) Your 'well established in paranormal fields' on the other hand sounds like you've read a few too many made up stories in crappy magazines in the hairdressers and are trotting out that as fact too, thinking that if you mention Jesus' name we'll all go 'oh must be true then'. Handy hint for you - adding a bit of sexual depravity into a made up story excites the readers and makes them buy the magazine for themselves in future.... It's just like how the Daily Mail makes up stories ('sources claim') to sell more copies...
