@Jacopo i don’t think it’s Katie Hopkins at all. But at the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter who it is. It’s Jack’s own words. It’s not like they are sharing things JM has not literally tweeted themselves.

700+ supporters on patreon is a MINIMUM of £700 a month but likely to be much more. Plus the PayPal tip jar Jack rattles on the regular. Add to that the paid work (Jack states they do 100 hour weeks… some of it must pay..) her back catalogue of books, appearances and collabs, means that Ms Monroe is not on the bones of their backside.

The twitter account clearly shows that Jack twists the truth to suit the moment. They will never address all of the inconsistencies it has captured because how can they, without admitting fault, and it seems with Jack Monroe it’s always someone else’s fault.

You're not the only one, but I really don't see why. It sounds nothing like her. Besides, Hopkins wouldn't do it anonymously.

I don't think it's KH, there are a hugeeeee number of posts on Tattle with hundreds of people involved, and most of the tweets are based on things that have been dissected on the threads. A lot of people have been onto JM for a while.

Rent is stupidly high nowadays.
I was lucky enough to buy our house with a mortgage around 20 years ago.
Our mortgage is 200 quid a month but if you want to rent the exact same house next door it's 600 a month. 😕

I don’t pretend to know their outgoings. I do know that you shouldn’t live beyond your means and repeatedly lie, two things Jack is clearly doing.

They won’t (for fairly obvious reasons) refute the AwfullyMolly twitter feed, as it would be pretty difficult to given both sides of the truth are theirs. They can’t both be right. If you’re not Jack and you’re so determined to defend their reputation, maybe you could have a go instead?

But even if we don’t know her finances and shouldn’t assume @GoodJanetBadJanet - why does she think the World owes her an own home, or even a one bedroom flat ? Home ownership isn’t a right, she’s lucky that her parents could release equity from their multi buy to let property portfolio. But they haven’t, I’m guessing this is due to her erratic spending. Designer dogs, lip injections, Cotswold & Co furnishings, Emin hanging in the bathroom that could all go into a healthy mortgage deposit.

It’s not that weird to suggest Jack may have joined the thread. She’s posted on mumsnet quite a bit in the past, under her own name though.

Maybe not you personally then, but you can't deny there are multiple posters on here doing exactly that.

She has tripped herself up and proven herself to be a liar.

She's never owned a toaster, but there is a photo of a toaster in her kitchen.

She doesn't own a TV....but how dare that delivery driver leave her TV in its box on the doorstep.

She is having to melt down soap to make shower gel (WTF, why?!) but she rents a 3 bedroom house in an expensive area.

The problem is that when you've been caught out in a couple of lies, people don't know when you're lying and when you're telling the truth. When you're simultaneously taking money from people, many of whom will be in dire straits financially and really struggling because you're "so skint" but then getting a dog/tattoo/haircut/holiday then you're effectively a con artist.
