I have a 24 hour ban on facebook now for saying "you're a dog mate" to a man/woman with a dog avatar, who asked if I was a child because my avatar is a cartoon.

I previously got a ban on facebook for saying "I wish we had a store here" in the comments to a shop advertisement.

“Merry Christmas you filthy animal” quote from Home Alone earned a ban for a week.

Saying that a BLM was irrelevant within the context of a crochet stitch discussion thread

I once put in Facebook after my friends dig has been stolen that i would kill anyone that stole my dog. Got a two week ban 😂

Shared an article on Facebook via the BBC website about a local man convicted of interfering with a dog. 24 hour ban for fake news!

I got banned this week for using the word police to describe who sits behind mobile speed cameras. Been banned from Marketplace for selling counterfeit Minnie Mouse dressing up. That wasn't counterfeit. In the end I bundled it with some other clothes of the same size and didn't mention it. I asked for so many reviews by a human to look at the Disney label and let me get on with it. No one cared.

You don't get bans without warnings so, whilst some of these seem daft, you've got to be intentionally difficult, at the very least.

That's not true. You can get an instant 24 hour ban with no warning, I know several people who've had them and had no idea why or what they've supposed to have said!

I posted in a competition for a chocolate company. You had to comment on your favourite flavour. I said "salted caramel" and was banned because it didn't meet community standards

Reading these posts makes me feel better about my lifetime ban from Gumtree. Still no wiser how selling a wardrobe and chest of drawers could be so wrong.

I got a warning on here once because I said to someone who posted a super fucking judgmental thread about single mums “Where should I send your medal OP?”. Apparently the OP didn’t like it. MNHQ were quite happy to let the same OP imply that single mums were slags though

I had an account warning on my FB that lasted for a year for bullying myself!
I do try and be good on FB as I have a VR headset linked to it, and a ban would brick it.

I was suspended for a week from MN for my interpretation of the John Lewis ad which featured the boy trashing his home. A TRA or one of their supporters (I presume) reported me, my post was deleted, I posted it again and was banned for a week. No warning, nothing - I just couldn’t log in and it was only when I emailed them did I find out.

I haven't been banned that I recall, but recently I posted some baby slippers with a bunny design on FB Marketplace. They were very OBVIOUSLY cream slippers for babies but with cute bunny faces. FB removed my post claiming the sale of animals isn't allowed. I appealed the decision, stating clearly they were actually slippers for human babies and not real live baby rabbits. They told me, eventually, a real human FB representative had viewed the photo and description and the ban still stood. I had a massive slap on the wrist for trying to sell 'baby rabbits'.

my first facebook ban was actually for hate speech for daring to discuss with someone how women were treated in the medieval period, (cause of the fall of man and all there, eternal sinners to be punished for fucking up mans relationship to god).

I got a Twitter ban for stating a biological fact. I’m sure I’m not the only one.

Oh yes, I have been banned from many facebook pages and groups (ironically marketing themselves as pro-women) for stating a biological fact.

For comparing Elon Musk to a bower bird. Hate speech apparently.
