I have a 24 hour ban on facebook now for saying "you're a dog mate" to a man/woman with a dog avatar, who asked if I was a child because my avatar is a cartoon.

I previously got a ban on facebook for saying "I wish we had a store here" in the comments to a shop advertisement.

Got a suspension on here for saying something about Prince Philip (who was still alive at the time) that someone objected to.

I was kicked out of the school PTA Facebook - not once but twice, two summers running.

The —control— —freak— mum in charge didn’t like me…
She posted on the Facebook page (which I rarely used) that you had to ‘like’ her post within x amount of time (hours/days) otherwise she assumed you wanted to be removed. This was in the middle of the summer break. So I didn’t see it and got removed and didn’t know about the meetings. So in effect I was out of the PTA despite this woman and her mates allegedly being keen for volunteers.

The first time it happened I was oblivious until the lovely Head asked me if I was ok as I was missed at the meetings. I was reinstated.
The second time I cottoned on quickly but didn’t lower myself to ask to join again…

I was suspended from Twitter for saying that men don't get periods. I had to delete the tweet before they would let me use my account again.

How long is a MN suspension? What a thing.

I once got banned from FB because someone said that a specific person should not be a disability rights activist because they had caused their own disability by taking too many drugs. I disagreed and was banned. 🤷‍♀️

someone told me my special needs child should be dead there was no need to bring him into the world and its only right and fair that medical treatment be restricted for the likes of him and so on the vile word vomit made me sick i reported it and commented "your nasty" i got a ban for bullying there vile comment was allowed to stand as it "didn't violate community guidelines" i challenged it as far as i could but got nowhere

That is shocking but not surprising.

It's the same thinking that means women get banned for stating 'women don't have penises' but the men who respond with rape and death threats don't.

Got a warning on FB after I put a pic of some new clothes in a style group. Someone asked where a jumper was from. It was from Fat Face. Apparently I broke the bullying and harassment code. I appealed explaining it was the name of a shop but even a human review kept the warning in place.

Got banned from DSpy for mentioning the huge increase in the number of teen girls transitioning. Apparently I was making the place "unsafe".

I said 'aww bless your cotton socks you, ignorant fool'

I got a ban for mentioning fat boy slim. Apparently calling someone fat boy isn’t allowed!

I got a fb ban for calling my friend a cockwomble

Got banned from Twitter for quoting Withnail and I.

I had a warning about a post I made which was deleted. I replied to a local attraction's post about their African Land Snails that I also had one many years ago and he was called Victor. Fuck knows what that was about but I had Victor for 8 years.

On a post "which chocolate bar should be banned" in which turkish delight was the obvious correct answer I commented "Turkish 🤢" and got a ban for being racist

For suggesting that all students should learn to cook before going to university. Bonkers isn't it.

I got a warning on facey for spreading misinformation and spam on world menopause day because I replied to a comment with a link to the NHS explaining that actually men don't get any kind of male menopause and can we please just have one day without having to think of the men.

I was kicked out of a FTB Facebook group for sharing that not all leasehold flats had doubling ground rents and high service charges (like my 1930s flat with zero ground rent and where freehold is owned by residents). Apparently I was being rude to another poster who was adamant that all FTB should buy houses exclusively!

I was banned from Facebook for tying to sell an animal. I was trying to sell a steam cleaner than vaguely looked a bit like a penguin.

I got a FB ban for trying to sell an animal too

I was actually trying to sell a horse rug. The photo was of the said rug draped over a gate. My horses were grazing far away in the background.

The ad was removed, so I reposted it without any reference to horses or anything that could be vaguely misconstrued as me selling an actual horse and got a ban

I got banned from Twitter for 7 days for calling a journalist a fool. According to another Twitter user, calling someone a fool is being a keyboard warrior.

I was suspended for a week from MN for my interpretation of the John Lewis ad which featured the boy trashing his home. A TRA or one of their supporters (I presume) reported me, my post was deleted, I posted it again and was banned for a week. No warning, nothing - I just couldn’t log in and it was only when I emailed them did I find out.

I was banned from another parenting site on a daft describe your walk to your favourite job post. Someone recognised the description and knew where I’d described so I was banned for having worked for a rock magazine 15+ years previously because they didn’t like journalists being on the site. By then I had a completely different job in a different industry but the paranoia ran strong.

I’m not sure the rock magazine I worked for were that interested in washing cloth nappies and breast feeding arguments tbf.

I have a mate on FB I used to have running banter with about that, called him a perfumed you know what and he always responded in kind.

Well one day I (as a joke) threatened to put them both on the naughty step if they didn’t stop scrapping (hardly going to happen as they are 22 and 37)
I got a warning for bullying
About a fortnight later,my son texted me to ask what I’d written as it had been deleted
I think it was ‘oh,do piss off son’
Another warning
The third was ‘your posts will appear further down for 30 days’ because I’d written ‘it’s your mummies birthday next Friday son’ on another of my sons wall
Don’t understand that one-he asked me to remind him!
I’ve only got it to keep in touch with them and for work-I’m thinking of coming off it as it seems to be killing itself off

actually come to think of it I got kicked out of a robert downey junior fan page on FB, because the admin decided to celebrate his birthday over a week early with birthday pictures and posts, multiple people where like and pointed out his birthday was not yet, she came back saying something along the lines of she liked celebrating it early like how everyone puts their christmas decorations up in november.

I commented that I didnt I put them up in december 12 days of christmas and all that.

I got banned and god knows what happened to all the other people who commented, she probably banned at least 11 people that day just for saying its odd to celebrate a birthday over a week in advance, pointing out it wasnt his birthday or saying they put christmas decorations up in december/christmas is different to peoples birthdays etc.

I was banned from Netmums for saying I didn't like the name Sabrina

And I got banned from Uninspiring Adverts on FB for defending Jeremy Beagle's hand when someone took the piss out of it!
