A horse, an actual horse, complete with carriage outside my house and secured it to my drainpipe!

If it's a milk cart, keep an eye out for a bakers van........there's gonna be a fight soon 😆

Poor old Ernie

Thoosa · 25/03/2022 18:10

That’s a fabulous picture.

The horse looks a bit embarrassed.

thefirstmrsrochester · 25/03/2022 18:10

I’d love someone to park their horse outside my house 😍

Pointlesspolice · 25/03/2022 18:10

Oh god this post is hilarious…please keep it going for my Friday night in . Love the horse drawing 😊

QueenofLouisiana · 25/03/2022 18:10

May you be commended on your diagrams- still holding out for a photo though.

But- WTAF? Who just leaves a horse in front of someone’s house?

Whiskersonkittens21 · 25/03/2022 18:10

I'm here for the picture

BruceAndNosh · 25/03/2022 18:10

They've blocked your car in?
I'm not sure how the Council can tow a horse away

Pinkpig1 · 25/03/2022 18:10

@Northernlurker

And what do your neigh-bours think?
Maybe they have a long face
AndAsIfByMagic · 25/03/2022 18:10

Most excellent illustrations.

You have the bit between your teeth here, OP.

Northernlurker · 25/03/2022 18:10

Marvellous picture! It looks a little nonplussed itself.

Perhaps it feels they are making an ass of it?

HorsePark · 25/03/2022 18:11

I’m not sure how tall 14.2 hands is but it’s back is level with my shoulder and I’m 5’3”

Is it a drain pipe or a downpipe or a soil stack because that could be a whole world of difference if it bolts and takes the pipe with it

Thoosa · 25/03/2022 18:11

@Shannith

Please please take a photo.

Now I know how much excitement it generates I might tie my horse to a drainpipe tomorrow. She's very nice and would love the attention and any carrots.

I've clearly missed a massive opportunity/trick.

Though with my pony club head on, it's not very safe if it pulls back. What's it secured with? Have they used some bailing twine or is it just rope>>drainpipe? Because if it's the latter I shall hoick a judgey pant.

I hope you've gone to make friends with it. I would not be able
To resist.

Yes! This should become a thing. Smile
MinglingFlamingo · 25/03/2022 18:11

Is it concrete or grass in front of your house op. I'd be concerned about the cartwheels churning the grass up. Is the horse in any distress??

SpiderVersed · 25/03/2022 18:12

@HorsePark

Ok here is diagrams…
Best diagram ever
Northernlurker · 25/03/2022 18:12

That sounds quite small to me. That would fit in your house no bother.

I wouldn't kick against fate

Pointlesspolice · 25/03/2022 18:13

Have you any carrots? Hope you are not near a busy road !

pussycatunpickingcrossesagain · 25/03/2022 18:13

Do you live at number 22...are you Sue??

RedWingBoots · 25/03/2022 18:14

Don't be feeding the horse a carrot or an apple now. You don't want him to produce manure for you - then you will have to let rot down.

Northernlurker · 25/03/2022 18:14

If it pulls a cart it's hopefully fairly chilled with road noise. Unless today was its day in a new job and it got carted in to this.

JayAlfredPrufrock · 25/03/2022 18:14

4” to a hand. So about 15.3.

Could be a real night mare.
HorsePark · 25/03/2022 18:15

It’s like concrete/tarmac in front of the house. I’ve no idea whether it’s a drain pipe or a down pipe but I do wonder if it’s strong enough to withstand a horse bolting.

The dog is going bonkers looking at it through the window
