Something similar was reported two days ago, along the lines of run over by a tank , both legs broken , taken to hospital, awaiting compensation. I wonder if it's the same officer, who has now died?

Talking about trolls, the guy behind the Wagner Group and Russia's main bot farm is currently attempting to sue the founder of Bellingcat for libel in the British courts. He's currently boo-hooing because his legal firm dropped him. Note, they dropped him when he got sanctioned, not because of all the murder and torture.

I’m starting to think that Russian intelligence comes from Internet forums and Twitter. Society seems divided when you’re online but in real life most people don’t express opinions or even talk about politics. Maybe I run in the wrong circles as even Brexit wasn’t especially divisive amongst my friends and family. Ditto covid, masks etc.

There was an old joke about Erich Honecker who decides to go incognito into the city to see what people thought of him. He goes into a bar and asks a drinker "What do you think of Erich Honecker ?"

The man looks warily round and tells EH to meet him outside a few minutes later.
