How many pizzas would you have ordered?

Following a tense situation this evening I though I'd consult the hive mind.

Friday night dinner for 6 adults - how much would you expect you'd need to order?

(Dominoes/Pizza Hut style pizza)

3 large dominos pizzas (half each) with 4 x wedges sides to share
or 6 medium pizzas

In defence of my 'Crisps and salad out of the cupboard' comment... we don't have domino's or pizza hut here, so when pizza is delivered its literally just pizza. They do sell sides but they're pretty universally awful, so we don't get them!
I suppose it is a little sad though. :-(

4 pizzas and some sides

DH and DC get two large pizzas and two sides for three adults and two children. Although I think DH would polish off a whole one to himself.

Oh gosh, FIL will not have seen the deals or realised personal is tiny. Dominos is so expensive, you have to do the deals to your advantage. Poor sod.
The only way you would manage otherwise is 1 slice each if you were doing jackets and grated cheese in oven to go with.

Ok I've found my people Yes I'm the BF travelling mother so perhaps a larger appetite than normal.

The original order was 1x medium & 1x personal sized pizza plus a little 4 slice garlic bread.
After much prodding an extra medium pizza was added.
What boggles my mind is that the order was made by a man who always orders a mixed grill in restaurants if available on the menu so it's not like he has a small appetite!

I'm in bed with the baby, I've just text DH who's downstairs to go get me a subway

There's no way that order is enough for 6 adults!

For me, DD(20) & DS(14) we order:

Large Texas BBQ
Large meateor
2x chicken strippers
Wedges
Cookies

I get the massive salad is a bit of a Mumsnet joke but I have a question...... People who eat a salad with pizza, how do you eat it? With a fork as a side? Eat the pizza with a fork as well? Put the salad on top of the salad? It's keeping me awake at night.

I should be sleeping before the baby wakes up for a feed but I'm laying here trying to figure it out!

3 large and salads. Or 4 large.

For the variety as much as anything, at least 4 with no expectation that they'd all be eaten in one go. Leftovers are the bonus.

I need to save money to pay my energy bills and eat healthier as there won’t be any NHS in the future.
Six adults could surely rustle up a simple healthy meal between them?

Well I'm a light eater and even I would have thought quite a bit more than that.

We would have eaten 3, but I would have ordered 4, to be on the safe side. No sides, to leave room for pudding, as you have to have ice cream after pizza. It's the law.

3 large plus sides, especially wedges.

Unless I didn’t know what kind people like; then I’d get maybe 5 different ones.
Or unless it’s for teenage boys, when at least one per boy, plus sides.
It’s nice next day anyway.
