FlightRadar24 - high traffic following invasion

Is anyone else monitoring the air traffic on FlightRadar24? There was an 8 minute wait to get on to the website!

Lots of military aircraft.

This one has just taken off, wonder where it’s headed? I’ve clicked follow to track it.
Activity seems to have stepped up today!

They seem to have all disappeared?

I seem to see more on military radar than flight radar

the amount of military craft up across europe at this moment is shocking!!

Is Military Radar an App?

These two are in the same flight path but with no info

I can see them, both F16's

So is this an unusual amount of militarily aircraft then? I don't usually notice!

Yeah it's completely normal i suppose when tensions are so high to ramp up the exercises! I did see one of the F-15's when they broke through the clouds and it was pretty impressive! They've stopped now thankfully.

I lost one of the f-16s. It just dropped from the follow but can still see the other one

I saw identical the other day. Appeared as it decended then disappeared just as quick.

The F15s, F35s, Typhoons etc are impressive in the sky. I love a BigJetTV military day! I’d really love to go up to Coningsby to watch them but I’m never sure how to time it right. We often catch the F15s at Lakenheath when visiting family. They are LOUD when you’re at the end of the runway

F-35s are impressive. Watched the US test pilots showing off the other year, from a good vantage point. Very impressive. Hammer head stall turns, demonstrated by the best of the best. Twas like our own little air show.

I can't get the RadarBox app to work tonight. Apparently there are no planes anywhere in the world at the mo

Radarbox not working for me either. But FlightRadar24 is, so the US have not turned GPS off

For quite some time..

Some airports equip some of the vehicles that are used on aircraft maneuvering area (taxiways and runways) with transponders so that Air Traffic Control can use their ground movement radar to keep an eye on their position during foggy/misty condition.

Interestingly though, Oligarchs' planes haven't moved for 3 days.

If you look further up to my other posts you can see my posts of all the mad flying around by Abramovich and others. They were jetting about everywhere until 3 days ago! But all gone silent now.
