The one that always gets me is the one where a woman gets angry with some builders and yelled 'Willy Willy Willy' at them
Also didn't see this delight at the time but have since learnt about it was the Sistine screamer- I could die laughing thinking about that one
What are your best threads for comedy value?

The evil dolphins one
Any threads with a typo in the title- recent one about chicken I think???
The one asking if party guest son should take a super soaker to a party

seekinglondonlife · 20/02/2022 10:20

The one where a poster was "FUMMING" that her child did not get a part in the nativity play, but then went on to say she had requested her child be withdrawn from all religious activities.

Also the poster who felt discusted at people thinking dolphins were cute and innocent, when in fact they were evil and just pretending so that they could lull women into a false sense of security and then rape them. Her own daughter allegedly was raped by one.

seekinglondonlife · 20/02/2022 10:22

There was also a fairly short thread by a man whose wife had stopped sleeping with him and instead she was "polishing the pearl". The responses were very funny.

TheDoveFromAboveCooCoo · 20/02/2022 10:23

I wish I could find the evil dolphins thread 😂

Was her daughter actually a seal?!
seekinglondonlife · 20/02/2022 10:35

Drop IIRC the daughter was swimming with dolphins in the sea when the attempted rape happened. On another thread like this a poster said it was probably her mum who started the thread, as she had a very ingrained hatred towards dolphins and told everyone that her daughter had been raped by one, even though it wasn't true.

Oh the fumming lady was a character

NotQuiteNormalMe · 20/02/2022 15:14

How has the school play got 1003 responses and 41 pages?

eunace · 20/02/2022 16:46

the man who whispered ‘penetration’ every time they had sex.

Never saw the thread, and I don't want to, but I have tears of laughter rolling down my face at that.

I disagree that pp who said this thread is boring without links 😅. My imagination is in over drive.

cheapskatemum · 20/02/2022 16:48

@AFingerofFudge

Does anyone remember the person posting about a couple sitting in their car outside her house for days/weeks ?!
Yes! Can't remember what happened in the end though?
OVienna · 20/02/2022 16:59

@coodawoodashooda

@PrawnDrench

Pom Bears anyone? Bear
I can't believe it took so long for someone to mention this one!

There was a glitch for a time where either the users on the MN app could continue posting past 1000 but the website users couldn’t (or the other way around, can’t quite remember). Obviously that glitch is gone now.
AKissOrAGunfight · 21/02/2022 01:42

@Gardeningcreature

The one where the poster was stuck on the kitchen worktop and had to ring her husband at work to get her down. She had been trying to reach the paracetamol. It was mind boggling.
I was thinking of this one. Was so funny.

Thank you, I didn't realise this was the school play one.

thenewduchessoflapland · 21/02/2022 03:36

@WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll

The Ford Ranger one - the behaviour of the outrageous self-important owner who abandoned his car on OP's property and then tried to play mind games for days on end, as (we collectively surmised that) he was too busy playing Boggle with Bruce Grobbelaar to be able to fetch his car.

I did feel concerned for OP's safety, but she played it absolutely perfectly, ably assisted by her wonderfully (pretend) bonkers brother!

I think everyone fancied a carvery after that and thé that OP had basically found her DB his a plethora of potential future wives 😂

I'm due to go to Rome and see the Sistine chapel and now I won't be able to go in without thinking of this and probably giggling to myself.

Ellaroos river of sweetcorn (the thread no longer exists I think MorningPaper or someone saved it as a pdf document) and the eulogies for Threadworm's deceased guinea pig.
