Are you in touch with school friends?

I wonder how many people are still in touch with people they knew at school. I sometimes look people up to see what they are doing, but i am not in touch with anyone now.

Yes, I see a group of four friends a few times a year, I live 200 miles away now but we still make an effort to meet up.

Only 2, one lives in Germany. The other I met for a dog walk today.
I still live very close to the area I grew up in so bump into people fairly regularly. Wouldn't say we were friends.

Yes, quite a few, even though I moved away for uni and never went back. I still have the same best friend from primary school in the early 80s.

Yes, just two of them. One lives at the opposite end of the country, so haven't seen her for about five years, but the other lives just an hour away and see her once or twice a year. Others live lives that are so far removed from mine that it would be laughable to think we could be friends now.

Only one, and only by phone once a year or so. It's hard to meet up because of her situation

Not really. In touch with them on Facebook but not actually met up with any of them for about 18 years

Just about. We are friends on FB and meet up as a group very occasionally (maybe once every two or three years). It's a group of six of us and some people within the group are closer friends (two of them live locally to each other and their DC are friends), but I'm not one of those - I only go when the whole group meets up.

Only 1 but I know loads of people who have been friends since as far back as primary school 30 odd years ago

Yes. 6 of us still see each other quite regularly. Occasionally meet up with another 3/4 for drinks

Yep. I left school 25 years ago and still good friends with people from school.

Nope, nor are any of my current friends 😬 we all moved around a lot.

I have 5 close friends that I've known since primary school. Some of us live in different countries now so don't see each other that often but our group chat is always beeping.

College - yes, one mate I see all the time and am godmother to her daughter.

Husband - has a school friend who we don't see often. The other day my daughter (who lives 200 miles away from.us) saw his daughter (who lives about 50 miles away from them) in a local supermarket! Recognisable as she has a standout hairstyle. She spoke to her and they live in same town.

Yes close friends with six friends from school. They are probably my closest friends as we have known each other so long there is no stress or need to be anything other than ourselves. I can just slob around in a tracksuit with no makeup on with them 😂

No, don’t see anyone from school but do see my Uni friends regularly. DH sees one of his school friends still.
