He will make a waffle apology for attending parties and get togethers, deny that were actually any parties and get togethers. Act like a bit of buffoon and throw out a few catchy phrases.

Now the damage has been done with the NHS vaccine requirement, he'll be cancelling it. Just like how he mandated vaccine passports for night clubs, then cancelled that.

If a new variant emerges that's more dangerous, then he'll backtrack and say vaccines ARE required and repeat the whole sorry pantomime.

The fool just flip-flops with his "rules" without giving a moment's thoughts to the poor sods caught up in it.

EeeICouldRipATissue · 31/01/2022 12:41

Didn't realise he was, not getting my hopes up he's going or anything though as it''ll no doubt just be more rambling bollocks.

You've missed the bit where he'll say how wonderful he is re the vaccine roll out! (He always says it regardless of the question).
franke · 31/01/2022 12:42

He’s going to lie to parliament a bit more, probably.

SpinningTheSeedsOfLove · 31/01/2022 12:44

It's a statement in and to the House of Commons about the redacted and watered-down 'update'. He'll be insufferable.

dangerrabbit · 31/01/2022 12:45

@MissyB1

Probably saying they’ve cancelled the vaccine mandate for NHS staff.
Yeah, this, to provide a distraction from his own activities

Ugh, can't remember who it was on GMB the other morning, one Government official anyway.
Every time he was asked a question he completely avoided it and started blathering on about the success of vaccine rollout.
THAT'S NOT WHAT THEY ASKED YOU!!!!!
Arrgh and breathe Grin

LightSpeeds · 31/01/2022 12:46

He's having a party and we're all invited (bring a bottle)!

ArseInTheCoOpWindow · 31/01/2022 12:48

Will he brush his hair?

TulipsGarden · 31/01/2022 12:49

He won't resign. He thinks he was born to be PM and is above the law.

He'll waffle some bollocks about learning lessons, fire some civil servants and carry on as before. We need the entire Cabinet out, they're all as bad as each other.

ChicCroissant · 31/01/2022 12:51

He won't resign, brush his hair or think he's done anything wrong. He thinks he was born for the job, it's up to the Conservative MPs to get him out.

ChicCroissant · 31/01/2022 12:51

Grin cross post with Tulips there Grin

Hightemp · 31/01/2022 13:00

@Thedogshow

I actually hope he doesn’t resign. He’s a horrific hypocrite and probably a terrible person but the others are even worse.
How do you know that ? What is your comment based on ? Cannot think how you can compare others who are not in Downing Street ,with Boris !
Feelingoktoday · 31/01/2022 13:02

@ClawedButler

Thing is, once that self-serving arse buggers off, another of those hideous bastards will just step into the gap. Same utter contempt for the public, just a different mask.
Exactly!!! Truss, Gove, Mogg. Or a man who is richer than the queen and has no idea how the rest of us manage.
Wreath21 · 31/01/2022 13:04

Well if he resigns (or even if he is shoved out by his party) the next Glorious Leader is likely to come from the Tory cabinet. So who would you fancy? Authoritarian wingnut, cokehead, fuckwit, smug git?

GrannyWeatherwaxsHatpin · 31/01/2022 13:04

It'll be a non-apology ("I'm sorry the public feel as they do") followed by a lot of waffling, an attempt to look contrite, something in Latin, possibly a weak joke ("I'm still popular really, aren't I?") and finally a reminder that Covid isn't over to try and get us to worry about that instead, before shuffling back into No 10 to see if he can finally find the horcruxes Dominic Cummings left behind when he was sacked.

I hope he doesn't resign as the odious Rishi will probably be voted as the next Tory leader and hence PM.

We need more time for Rishi to have to face the consequences of his stupidity and recklessness over last 2 years as chancellor, to reduce the risk of him being voted in. The longer it's delayed, the more chance of Rishi's popularity diminishing fast and he can go and crawl back under the rock he lived under pre 2020.

IpanemaPeaHen · 31/01/2022 13:15

Non apology waffle shite, nothing to see here, I am the chosen one, do as I say not as I do.

RedToothBrush · 31/01/2022 13:15

"I apologise if I have done something that has upset people. I will abide by the findings of the report without question"

A non-apology apology.

LOL at horcruxes!
Malariahilaria · 31/01/2022 13:17

He won't resign. He'll never resign. I despise him and I don't want him to resign. I want him to stay in charge and continue to screw up until the tory party is unelectable. Too many voters just think 'oh stop going on, it was just a bit of wine and cheese', I suspect he's still got bigger fuck ups to come.

Thirtytimesround · 31/01/2022 13:20

He’s still trying to get out of it. He’ll never resign. He distracted people from his lawbreaking by saying wait for the Sue Grey report, then pressured the police to make Sue Grey leave out all the stuff about law breaking. Now he’ll make an announcement saying “look the report doesn’t say I broke laws and we need to move on.” Expect to hear lots about levelling up / Trump-stule claims that we have the best vaccines and economy ever etc etc 🙄 He’ll probably announce the pandemic is over just to make everyone like him, despite incredibly high community transmission levels and deaths.

Don’t look at the food banks and out of control inflation and incompetent corrupt leadership just sing along to Boris.

The whole thing is designed to distract and drain the energy from those calling for him to quit.

It’s shameful. I’m really angry with all the Conservative MPs who didn’t write a letter if no confidence.

SirChenjins · 31/01/2022 13:21

"We're committed to focusing on the issues that really matter to the British people , like the most successful vaccine rollout programme in the history of the universe, reclaiming our laws from the EU , rebuilding the economy and other stuff written down here that I don't understand - but I'm going to say it forcefully anyway"

More of exactly the same nonsense as usual from chief clown of the Tory circus.

quiteathome · 31/01/2022 13:22

Sue Grey plus the vaccine mandate news that NHS staff won't be fired after all.

Rambling slightly insulting apology to the little people.

He won't resign because he genuinely can't see that he did anything wrong.
