How do you drink Baileys?

My grandma gave me a 1ltr bottle of Baileys for Christmas, I've never even tried it before but I'm going to give it a go! How do you drink it? Is it like a shot type thing like people would drink whiskey/brandy etc? Just pour a glass full and drink it like a boozy milkshake? Mix it with anything?

I go for volume so my preferred vessel is an old galvanised bucket, of course I rinse it out with Milton first as sometimes it has to be pressed into service for 'sloppy out' my semi-incontinent cat.
Oh yes, I like to add an ice-cube or two - I really thinks that adds that 'je ne sais quoi'

Just as it comes. No ice or anything else added to it. I'm not keen on it chilled or tampered with too much. I love it but only have it at Christmas, I'm the only one that drinks it and have been known to just be knit straight from the bottle.

I just free pour into a tumbler, its not particularly strong so feel I can get away with an extra glug or two

Not a glass full! A shot or double shot type measure over ice, after dinner as a desert/nightcap.

I also like it poured over vanilla ice cream.

I keep it in the fridge but do not use ice. Ruins the baileys when the ice starts to melt. Pour and sip, that's all.

Sipped from a tumbler with ice. Had one earlier, always get it around Christmas, it’s delicious.

No, no! Baileys is Irish whiskey based but is less than 20 pct ABV so you need to take equal amounts of Baileys and whiskey (or whisky/Scotch if you have no Irish) to get a decent drink. That's all.

Half a tumbler over ice, in hot chocolate, in coffee and mixed with double cream to pour on desserts.

A large quantity, with ice!

I had it in hot chocolate the other day, that was good.

50ml Baileys, vodka, amaretto, and kahlua (or Tia Maria), over ice, with half and half or chocolate milkshake. Think it used to be called a screaming orgasm or similar late 90’s.

Oh there's so many ways to have it!

I like it poured inside a hollow chocolate reindeer (or similar) with a straw and squirt cream on top.

If you have a milk frother pour some in there with your milk and make a baileys latte, delicious.

Did this with my steam wand last week. It was divine!
