How do you drink Baileys?

My grandma gave me a 1ltr bottle of Baileys for Christmas, I've never even tried it before but I'm going to give it a go! How do you drink it? Is it like a shot type thing like people would drink whiskey/brandy etc? Just pour a glass full and drink it like a boozy milkshake? Mix it with anything?

Just with ice but I also drink it with Aldi Creme Caramel liquer added, it's lovely

I drink mine like this; measure of Bailey's, measure of toffee vodka and ice cubes made from really strong espresso. I can only manage a couple but bloody hell they're delicious

With ice, ice cream or in hot chocolate. Or coffee. You can make your own:

1 teaspoon cocoa powder
1 tin sweetened condensed milk
1 cup whisky or brandy (cheap is fine)
1 cup cream (single, double or whipping)

Blend the cocoa powder with a bit of cream until smooth, then gradually whisk in the cream and the other ingredients. Keeps in the fridge for at least two months.

If you have a milk frother pour some in there with your milk and make a baileys latte, delicious.

Those of you mixing with thing like vodka, does it not curdle?

Over ice or with chambord (chambord kiss)

This is the only way I drink it.

I have some caramel Macchiato coffee pods. Would it go nicely with that? 🤔

You can try out a version of our national shot drink, The Springbokkie.

In a shot glass pour half creme de meth or peppermint liqueur, then the Baileys on top. We use Amarula but Baileys works well too.

On ice with equal parts amaretto.

Drink with ice then keep in the fridge once you've opened the bottle.

Definitely with ice, sipped not downed
