Anyone else here been on MN since it started?

Am not trying to be Clichy, So forgive the reminiscing.... but my eldest is now 22 and I remember MN becoming a thing about the time she was born, and today she left home good and proper...so it feels over, the whole being a clueless mum thing. The questions on here are on repeat and yet the answers are both the same and yet different as mumsnet was the ONLY social media out there at the time!!.

I Do remember being at work and keeping on clicking on the MN website, where the chats wouldn’t change all day! And then there was an amazing first meet up of all the mums, and I couldn’t make it and felt a bit jealous!

Justine et co must feel so proud of what they have created now, and their babies must also be grown up too, as is this website. Who could have guessed this is where it would be?

Nope. I was on netmums a few years, but it got quieter and quieter, and only found MN about 2yrs ago.

The most long term posters had member numbers, up to a couple of years ago some of them were still around.
I joined in early 2004 but that was a long time after the numbering of accounts stopped I think!

I think I first joined on about 2005. Go through a cycle of deregging and reregging every few years so no idea about numbers.

Is our membership number the same as 'system number'? ( I think that's what it said) in which case mine is 153574

I've been here around 15 years.

I joined in 2006 and my registration number was 42,000 something. That's lost now as I re-registered after the security breaches.

I remember being on a thread like this a few years ago and someone - who I think has now finally left sadly but she kept her same name throughout - said her registration number was something like 13. We were all in awe!

I’ve been here 18 ish years, since around 2003/2004 and my number is 24250!

15 years for me. Always wanted to go to a meet up but was never brave enough back then. Wouldn't faze me now in the slightest.

I’ve been here 13y, I remember how much tinier it was then now! The birthdays thread and a thread whenever it was someone’s birthday really stands out in my brain. Can you imagine doing that now!

2004, then deregistered after a pasting (deserved) before joining again in 2005. Have had an Eve Dalllas name since about 2007 I think. I spent far too much time on here between 2009-14, now just dip in and out. Didn’t go on any meet-ups, except to visit Zombie near the end. Wish I had though.
