I hate travelling. Don’t like going on holidays and I don’t like staying in hotels.

Most people live boring average lives (myself included). So much feels pointless since we all end up in the same position in the end.

Life is dull most of the time.

Most marriages are like roommates with occasional sex thrown in.

And you? What uncommon opinions do you have?

Most people are very strange.
You don't really get to know anyone unless you live with them.

I agree about holidays. I understand why others like them. People always act like there is something wrong with you if you don't enjoy them. Erm.. I can appreciate you do, so maybe look past the end of your nose and see why I don't?!

I love winter. Not the winter of films (crisp autumn days or deep snowdrifts, though I love those too) but the real winter: rain, wind, grey skies, hail, darker mornings and evenings. I like being outdoors in it, as well as cosying up afterwards.

Not at all keen on summer, I'd be perfectly happy without June, July and August tbh.

I absolutely HATE walking.
I know other people love it and feel great after a walk but I think I have wasted the time and feel really angry and cold if I have to walk anywhere.
I wish I liked it. I see families going for walks and they look so together, but when I try to get my family all out for a walk I feel so stressed out.

Films are too long and are mostly boring, I’ve only ever watched them because other people want to, I’d rather read a book.

I don’t like summer I can’t stand the intense heat. I love a rainy day. I love shopping on my own and don’t need to take anyone else for their opinion. Holidays are a hassle with kids. I hate a day at the beach and now for the big one ; I can’t stand Cornwall, my dh loves it, goes on about it, can’t wait to go again… but it takes ages to get to, most of the locals hate you and it’s just so bloody boring, I have to make out I love being there but I just can’t wait to leave.

Wine is unpleasant
Beer is worse
Alcohol is a waste of money
People should live within their means
Teenagers do not need a large data allowance
Degree of interest in football is inversely proportionate to intelligence
Teenagers should have things to aspire to eg they can look forward to the latest iPhone when they've got a job/career and pay for it themselves. In the meantime a good enough phone is good enough.

I love summer and feel sad it’s over.

The NHS really isn’t fit for purpose and is nothing to be particularly proud of

I don’t think any other parties would have done a better job of governing the country

I loathe walking too.

I married into a family of enthusiastic walkers, and boy, is it irritating. Whenever we go to stay with his family somewhere else in the country (they are scattered all over), we can't just go to a pub for lunch, oh no. We have to walk there, clambering about in the hills in walking boots and kagoules, and saying how marvellous it all is.
